Yeah, we got some of that here although not nearly as bad as in your area. Someday I really hope that there will be money for Botany programs that doesn't involve invasive plants... but sometimes I really love killing those bastards!

If you look at the thumbnail of this, it looks like a long line of urinals

yeah that place looks awesome, youfreeme.

can or did you go down to the water? i would want to get in, depending on how warm it was.

that rainbow halo around the sun is called a "sun dog" i think. pretty cool, i've never seen one in real life.

here are some waterfalls from around here. the pictures are not so recent though.

your waterfall (picture) is way more fuckin awesome than mine though. that place looks amazing. the texture of the rocks on each side of the waterfall is almost symmetrical, and the whole scene looks like it's sitting in a giant bowl. A+

Taughannock Falls near Trumansburg NY. I lived in Ithaca NY for 20 years and lived in Trumansburg for a couple years as well. Back in the 70's we used to walk up to the edge of the falls (when the water was lower) and you can walk up to the bottom of the falls. The whole Finger Lakes area is gorgeous. I wish I still lived back there. :2thumbsup:

Took an alternate bike route home on Tuesday and discovered a newly renovated MiMo style hotel from 1953 on Biscayne Blvd. Stopped and got some pix.

I think I've actually been there before. If it's the place that I remember, it's not too far from the road. So headed south on whatever road that is, you go down a really really steep hill before you take a right into the park.
