When college girls are interested in hooking up, they're basing their decisions mostly on looks, meeting guys at bars, parties, and beaches where there isn't a lot of conversation going on. You can't identify a soul mate by looking at him. And... finding him too early in life can be disastrous, interfering with education and career. A lot of parents of young girls live in fear of their daughters getting too serious with a guy, too soon. If you're rooting for the nice guy, don't you think he deserves more than a one night stand? If you go to high school reunions 10, 15, 20 years out, it's the dumb jock who used to be Big Man On Campus who is still living in the past, because it's all he's got. The geek who got stuffed into lockers has the nice job and the trophy wife now.
What do you mean what do I mean? I mean attractive women. Opinions don't differ that much as to which one's a 10, and which one's a 5! You hardly want me to post images of attractive women for you to show what I mean!!!!!!! but you get the concept
I believe the proper high school term is "dogs". Well, okay, there are some cute religious girls in there too. Research shows that 78.4% of all statistics are made up on the spot, including this one. It's all generalities anyway. Anybody can find exceptions.
Yeah you have to wonder, if 20% of men are banging 80% of women, then what about the top 20% of attractive women?? Are they being banged by the top 4% of men??!!!
No but when you said quality above quantity it could still be you weren't only talking about looks I see what you mean a bit more clear now. Still, defining the preferred look could make other things apparent as well. Like if you mean with quality the fake brushed up look of 'hot' girls covered in foundation and pretty much only wear underwear in the club (for example) Yes, but it is flawed and thus (as I made apparent) hard to take seriously for me.
Not entirely. And it's something I feel strongly about because I'm actually very attractive looking, it's just I struggle look comfortable at a party... dance awkwardly, etc. So I think I'd be off your radar Don't you think he deserves more than a girl that has been passed around the entire football team?
I'm sure you don't mean it like that but this makes it sound a bit as if parents would rather have their daughters have a one night stand then a serious relationship in their late teens
Do I really need to get more specific? That wasn't the original purpose of the thread It was just the easiest way for me to get the point across! But okay then, if you were to make a realistic guess as to what the actual figures are likely to be??
There's no actual need for it no. It was just to please my interest. I often disagree where it comes to the original issue and quality women but it remains subjective in the end after all. I have no idea about the actual figures. I don't worry about players who might all together fuck 50% (again, i've got no clue) of the female population and choose to perceive the world and live my life (including sex life) my own way. If I see a person expressing concern about these matters in a thread on these forums I often fool myself that my outlook might be of service to them...
No. Depends on what historical period we're talking about. College years? I don't know. If a friend had hooked up with you and had good things to say, you might have been in. Besides, I'm not necessarily speaking from personal experience every time I make an observation. My standards and tastes have always been a little different from average in my age group, but I saw what was going on. That would be an interesting poll question, for fathers currently in that situation. If safe sex is practiced, the one nighter can have much lower consequences. I would hate to be the father of a single girl. You know that has to suck.
Yes it is easier for women to pick up guys for sex. Even the ugly ones have no problem. It is just the way it is so you either have to step up your game and bring more to the table or you can sit around and worry about how unfair it is. I am by no means a super stud, but yet I have never had a problem finding someone to be with when I was alone. Being able to talk to them like they are people and not just an object goes a long way as well with many women. At least the kind I want to spend time with.
