Yes, the King James Version translates the word sheol as hell. But sheol was ordinarily understood by the Jews of the period to mean "death" or place of the dead. I thought you knew that, because in other postings you've explained that the place of eternal fire and torment does not exist.

Most fear doing so and will never find God as they do not seek him at the right place and in the right way.

Some tell me that it is to God to seek us. Who do you think should do the seeking and where?
