So late last night, I look outside in the front here, and there is a bushy tailed thing....at first it looked like a cat in the distance....but it came towards the deck where I stood...and looked me squarely in the eyes.....I think it was a grey fox.....then it turned around and went the other way...not as quick as the red fox I saw....my gosh....seeing it all lately here.

 

saw a black fox here once running down the road...it looked black but they call it a silver fox

not many around here..it'll probably be the only one i ever see


i like foxes...they help control the loose cat population :d

silver fox...yes, that is what it was...It was beautiful......

actually, Mewey, the old black female cat that will be 16 years old this coming October made a cry noise...as she was out there taking her late night pee, as she does...she is very thin and is small....that was her cry that brought me out there....fox came from bushes where she was hiding....For awhile, I did think the fox had killed her or hurt her....but after fox left, I got her back unharmed....so that fox was after her...don't be wishing that on my cats, BBAD.....

surely you dont let your cats out loose to roam around and get eaten by the natural wildlife

 

Poor Mew...her golden years are being spent being terrorized by Finnegan cat when she is inside or something else when she is outside....She pees on the counter in the kitchen here, so when she wants to go out to pee, I oblige her....but it did not do much good last night. She peeed on a brand new paper towel roll I left on the counter, not thinking, that I just had to toss.....

I do like foxes, too, and think they are beautiful creatures.

I finally found cheap magnets for sale.

And a cheap portable A/C

 

Have 3 window AC's here....as something about the layout of this house was not so good for central air, and I did not want holes to be made in the floors on this level or the top level for it to exist.
This heat wave is supposed to break a little tomorrow.....

 

I have no ac any where....don't need it on a breezy island

ive only been here 2 days when the heat was anywhere near unbearable and we have a beach for those days

you could hide it and only know the name, and only you could pull it up..
