I've been really busy with my family lately.

I'm doing a new thing around here for fleas. I'm coating the animals, house, and porch with diatomaceous earth. It's working pretty well but it isn't an instant cure.

Stuff is pretty abrasive to fabrics over time and tends to cake or build up. I had a rug sitting on top of linoleum and the finish on the linoleum wore away underneath the rug from the abrasiveness of the shells.

I don't pay anything...remember my son and I barter. I (and Mama when I can't stop her) do his laundry for him keeping me supplied with internet service. I don't think its but about $15 a month.

With satellite wouldn't there need to be a satellite dish mounted? I really don't know but I think you do and since I live in the woods in a relative oak grove and the shortest tree is about 100 ft tall, I can't imagine them being able to mount a dish here. Does that make sense? lol

OMG! Even though my precious insane Jack (who everybody was convinced kept fleas going in the house) has been gone a year in August, there seem to be more fleas than EVER this year

It is unreal and I have some of that diawhatever earth and have plans to spread it around, vacuum and yada yada. DEARGOD I hate going through that. Neither of the inside cats ever go outside. This flea crap only started a couple of weeks ago but they quickly have gone on the attack in full force. :cuss:

I have to work today. Now its time to save up more money since I spent most of it yesterday. lol

Each week the schedule gets stranger. Today/tonight I work from 4:15 until 10. Well, the schedule says 10pm. (We'll see.) Then tomorrow I work from 8am til 3pm.

The totally evil head manager is supposedly leaving (moving to Atlanta - watch out Aeri!) in about a month. Perhaps things AND the schedule will be better and make more sense.

 

I have company coming in starting June 28
and all throughout July I am booked with company
Soo I have a busy July coming up
Other than that just chillin

That sounds like a lot of fun (and work) having company booked for that long.

If she really does go...you know how people say they are going to do something and then it never really happens?...that will be absolutely WONDERFUL! I am silently going :hurray: Rumor has it she is moving to be with family...even though I know for a fact a lot of her family is here. I can't imagine her working out very well at another McDs in Atlanta where she can talk like an uneducated hick as well as be rude as hell and be the boss. lol

I have no idea what kind of coffee it is...it just comes in an aluminum type package with "McDonald's Coffee" written on it. sorry

 

Thanks for the heads up on that. Fortunately, everything I have is pretty well worn already.

 

That's pretty cute.

 

McD's has lots of different types of coffee type drinks...frappes, 5 flavors of iced coffees, basic coffee and also hot and iced lattes.

The ONLY type I like making is just regular coffee....you put it in the filter and hit brew. Pour it in the cup for the win. :2thumbsup:

Today has been a weird one. Everything familiar just seems a bit...off.

 

If you are not using it for games and you don't get any virues a computer is good for several years. So no porn or downloads from the torrent sites, but those are two very common things people do with computers haha.

 

Use Boric Acid (borax) instead or as a secondary since you already did the diatomaceous earth.

 

ReStore awning I painted last spring... They just commissioned another sign today, so that's two more signs and the truck tailgate.


Dig this... Last week, at the ReStore, I randomly said the guys next door need to move out so they can expand into that space. She's like "Yeah! That'll happen..." Today, the new sign... is for the space next door. Those guys were already packing their moving truck.
