This looks like something to cater to DDLG play. I've done a lot of kinky shit in my life, but I don't think I'd be down with getting myself off with a teddy bear....

 

I just thought oh how tender.....souled this person must be...I thought nothing weird about it.....
I came froma place where there were some guys......adult guys buying dolls and sharing photos of them. So what?! They were not doing anything to anyone. I am not sure what they were doing to the dolls....just being funny...nothing...they collected these expensive works of art. I was weird, too, for buying some of them.

 

one guy even took fantastic photos and told amazing stories that could have been published.

 

Assuming they didn't have vibrators in them, then that's not creepy.

 

I said something once to one of them...the weirdest one....what are you dong to those dolls....and then I felt badly about it....No....these dolls are not sex toys...no vibrators....etc....just beautiful works of art..

I don't think it is weird. I had a friend who collected beanie babies for years. He actually made a cabinet to display them in. He still has them but no longer adds to them. For some reason they took his fancy as a teen and he continued to collect them for years.

Piaf found some Blythe doll photos. Aren't they wonderful? I have a few.....they have a string in the back of their neck, that you pull, and it changes.....4 different eye colors with each Blythe...2 eyes side glance.....and 2 look straight forward....

These are probably neo Blythes......as the ones from the 60's or 70's, when they first came out, are pretty beat up most of them, and hundreds and hundreds of dollars...I have about 4 of the neo ones....not cheap either.....$100.00-$400.00 price range.....
I would buy dolls, sell them...and sell other things, as well, to pay for hobby at time.....if I wanted another......I could not just keep buying with no limits...so i did alot of selling then, too.

I have my great-uncle's teddy bear. My great-aunt bought it for him during WWII. Teddy might have been with him at Normandy.

A few years ago I saw some interviews -or should I say home stories- with their customers. If you think you are crazy and strange forget it, they beat you. Some of the customers have a whole collection of this dolls. They dress them, put them on the sofa and do... things to them.

ah, Blythe doll, know I remember. I think there is even a small DIY scene to customise the dolls and make them even more creepier. At least I remember some photos showing the dolls cut to pieces, without eyes and hair.

I never did anything weird to my dolls. I bought a porcelain doll once at a Goodwill, and after I got her home, I undressed her to make sure there were no cracks anywhere and that everything was ok, in case I wanted to sell her and found...someone had drawn pubic hairs and boobs and disgusting crap on her body....she was toddlerish, as well.......I was so disgusted. I had to throw her out ....nothing I could do to get the marker off......
