But I'm sure you could. I'm a bit sweaty and I haven't showered yet, so I might smell a bit offending, lol. But let's say if you had a shower the night before, and you just happened to smell your armpit or kind of rub rub your hands against your crotch area(not to sound risque, just to clarify! LOL).....then you most likely will be able to smell your natural body scent. I sometimes smell my own scent via the above mentioned way, and I think to myself "hmm, I guess I'm reasonable in the body scent department!" lol Of course, sometimes I'd just be like "Awww FUCK, I require a shower NAO!" xD Anyway, I don't know if I'm still on-topic or not, lol. xD
No, I've just always knew I couldn't smell, but I never went to the doctor for it. I mean it's not really something hard to figure out. Also, it doesn't cause me any other issues that I know of. I guess I should go to the doctor to see if there is a treatment, so I can smell my own BO and stuff. But, you know how it is... life gets in the way of going to the doctor. Or at least that's how it is for me.
Most people who can't smell, usually have trouble tasting too...def see a doctor mang, it could be something simple.
I don't think I have trouble tasting. Granted, I only have my experiences to compare it to, so maybe someone who has the ability to smell can taste a lot better than I can. As for going to the doctor, I'm pretty sure there is nothing doctors can do, especially considering most of the treatments I looked up is for people who have had a sudden loss of smell due to a sinus issue, such as a cold or the flu. And I know it's not that. So, for someone like me... it might be surgery and I don't feel like having surgery on my nose.
