do you think hickeys are trashy?

i just got my first one the other night and I really enjoyed it and i don't mind the mark at all, i've been covering it, but only because i like it better when only a few people know its there...you know? like an intimate sort of thing. Anyway, my mom told me it's trashy and i polled another forum i frequent and everyone there is telling me they are extremely trashy.. I think it's just a personal preference thing, some people having them, some don't but either way i think if you do choose to get them, they should be covered in most settings.

I think it comes across as trashy culturally, because it is a visible image of your sexuality. It lets people know that you're sexually active to some extent.

But, to each his/her own. If you like them, that's cool, but a lot of people are probably going to regard them as trashy.

 

i consider them to be pretty tacky, but i also hate having people making out in public where i can see them, soooo. i just dont want to know about other peoples sex lives

I think they feel nice
I don't mind wearing them, personally though

 

If you feel like you must have one get it in a place where people won't see it. Why? No worrying what any one else thinks! You enjoy them, and no one will give you one of "those" looks...Pretty simple solution

i hate having to work with them all over my neck though
everyone sees them and it becomes the point of conversation for everyone

I guess people that think they're trashy think PDA's are trashy too. I personally don't think its a big deal.. everyone is sexual (well most I guess), its part of our lives. I like when people notice too honestly hehe

Fuck what people think. I have two on either side of my neck right now. Guess what i like it! People dont know everything, and what i know is...i had a good weekened with my girl. I dont mind having them, it keeps other crazy girls away from thinkin bout startin shit. My girl likes me walkin around with them, she has claimed her man. Wear them with pride, very few even have em? ya know?

I love how they feel and really don't so much care about people seein them; me and my old man love each other and to us it's a sign of our affection for one another.

No, I do not think they are trashy, but I think it wise to keep em hidden because they are signs of intimacy that should be private.

People, especially the young, will tease people who have them, so cover them up if you don't want to get bullied.
