Not really an island nation, but come to our heart shaped island! #promotingtourism#patriotic#croatia
I hope for those lovers that's not the only romantic thing about that island. If you're on it you probably don't even see the heart shape
I'm not very spontaneous when making foreign travel destination choices. Except maybe when it comes to a music festival every now and then! I would hate to travel to a fascinating destination and find out afterwards that I only saw the wellknown tourist attractions because you are guided to those and miss out on the real fun, original and intriguing stuff that can sometimes be only 2 streets further. In most cases I will only be there once.

I am going to hawaii this month. ive been before so idk what ill do this time. prolly just find some sweet locations to hike and maybe smoke a little pot. I work at a retail store that has stores in every state so ill probably hit up the one out there and say whats up. Anybody ever been to the big island??? if so is there anything fun to do???
I can only find the non touristy spots if I dont research a place at all and just start rambling when I get there. Whenever I try to research a place I generally end up finding information on the spots most popular with tourists. The best way to find out about cool hidden spots is to grab a beer and spark up a.conversation with the bartender. Bartenders are wise.
I've always been interested in the California side of America where all the nice beaches look. I would not like to be anywhere too cold.
Hey we have some pretty spectacular beaches on the east coast as well .......but I would recommend driving the Pacific Coast Highway :2thumbsup: Hotwater
I'm sure there are nice beaches there too lol. I think I only see the ones on tv shows though like the OC and I assume baywatch is California but I'm not really sure. I love a nice blue ocean and yellow/white hot baked beach sand.
I've heard but I don't really know because I've only been to nocal between Monterey and san Francisco (I guess that's more mid rather than north, actually) which has its own, cooler microclimate...but I've heard the pacific ocean even in southern Cali is quite cold compared to the Atlantic ocean. Although 2 years ago I went to the Maine coast in late June and attempted to swim and my feet went numb within 10 minutes...but the southern Atlantic temperature is quite pleasant. Personally the pacific northwest had always interested me more than its southern counterpart. There aren't many places in the US I'm interested in seeing anymore that I haven't already seen but I would love to spend some time in Oregon and Washington.
yes the water in so cal is cold. but the beaches are way nicer then east coast and nor cal beaches. when you go in summer you dont need hot water though so its fine.
I live beside the Indian Ocean and we can get some cold currents from Antarctica flowing through but honestly I've always been more comfortable swimming in cooler water. Warm water seems like it would subtract from the idea of cooling down when I go for a dip lol. I've never researched the temperatures of oceans. We are heading into shark season soon, here's usually a few great white attacks while the currents are still cold.
back to 1980 ...for another go around i say 1980 because id rather not do over the part i dont remember
