My sister is 19 years old and expecting her 3rd child.....

Do I chew her out and tell her to never speak to me again? Do I just ignore her? Do I send her a message to let her know THIS IS WHY we have fucking problems?

I'm at least turning them into the social worker....someone needs to keep tabs on her...

 

At least it is one more thing to use in court to make sure the other kids are kept away from her....

That's actually very common. Idk about posting it on Facebook, but I know a lady who miscarried her twins, and she posted very tasteful photos of them on her blog.

 

Listen to this old gay guy, going on and on about how pregnant women feel, and the way they act.

Mothers who only want to get pregnant to get horny? Dude, do you even read your posts?

 

Anyways, Bunnielight, I am sorry about your family, I cannot even imagine all that....

 

Maybe I pictured it wrong... it looked quite disgusting in my mind..

 

It's not like a blood covered, disfigured baby. The nurses clean it up, wrap it in a blanket, and bring it to the mother so she can mourn with it. Most choose to take a few photos. I can see how it would be disturbing to someone who is not familiar with childbirth, but having that memory in the form of a photo can be very healing.

 

These photos are far from tasteful.

I've had many friends lose babies and they have had photos done or posted one as a memorial. I'm a photographer and have several photographer friends that have even had this done for friends. but these are not only of her posing WITH the child (with a pleasant look on her face) but numerous close ups.


There's something to be said about the sociology of this sort of thing. I have nothing against commemorating your child but this is way overboard and soley for attention. She feels no remorse whatsoever. I know that after talking to her yesterday because it was all about HER. Nothing mourning her child at all. The night she found out she miscarried she went on a date with a man she never met and then went to a Katy perry concert.

There's a difference between commemorating and exploiting your dead child for attention. And she DEFINITELY crossed that line.

I wasn't referring to your sister's photos or her motivation behind the photos. I'm just pointing out to the people that are uncomfortable with the idea of photos being taken, that it's relatively common.

Ok u need to cut her off live ur life and leave this whole mess behind u. I know it's harsh and I know u have a big heart and u care but u have one life to live and u cannot live it for anyone else but u. U cannot fix her life she needs to do her own work and she's not ready and maybe she never will be. Again tho this is not ur issue she's ur sister and I know it's hard but u can't be held down by her. Do not let her be a poison in ur life.

 

Wasn't planning on it. I already told my nephews' foster mother that she would be wise to never contact me again. It's sad that it had to go this far before I finally fully came to that. I'd only talked to her twice in the past 2 or so months, once dealing with our mother's estate and the other to find out what happened with this baby.

She certainly didn't mind my being in her business when I did shit for her all the time. Or when my mother's estate was on the line.

Where I come from, love is not conditional, nor do I expect it to be when she holds me to sisterly expectations but never does the same for me and then turns into a child neglector.

But I don't suppose you would care about that so much considering you just announced to the whole forum that you're a child molester.
