I'll be perfectly honest and say i am an exhibitionist, i like being naked and being naked in front of others, i'm happy in my skin and i find it extra stimulating having sex and masturbating in front of others, providing its all consensual, I wouldn't dream of offending anyone. I just find it nice to be totally free to express myself as i please, its difficult to understand why people insist on putting restrictions on freedom of expression....I think anyone can use a bit of common sense.

I completely agree! I like to think I have to keep the "sex" out of my naturism, I would even go so far as to say that I dislike overtly sexual behavior on naturist beaches, the possibility of giving all naturists a bad name just because some couples or individuals can't control their urges gets me annoyed.
That said, Phil & i have only ever properly swung with one couple....and they were naturists too! What that did do was make the act of getting naked together so much less tricky the first time we got together!

I agree that nudism is a pastime, a hobby, a preference - one that one should relax and enjoy, with respect for others and for yourself. There is very little sexual about it.I say very little instead of "nothing sexual". Because it is only a natural thing to be attracted to others, because that is a normal thing, unclothed or clothed, we all get attracted to people. But in an enviroment where we see a little more, there is a small increase in sexual thought and tension - but I stress that respect is very important, keep it to yourself. Naturism is NOT an enviroment to be abused as a sexual playground or fanatsy.. it is an enviroment to relax and socialize with others with respect for each other and for yourself.

Do I sometimes get excited in the company of the opposite sex, especially in a nude enviroment? Yes, a little. But I know that is normal. Just relax and stop worrying about it.

naturism for me is a life style.. its a mind set..

exhibitionists are people wo finds sexual gratifications wen seen by strangers..

social nudity is being naked wit friends and enjoying everything in a natural state. Note tat tere is no sexual satisfactions tat needs to be meet.

I've been a naturist for 19 years. Not even once in my life tat naturism equates into sex.

    lol.

Just about the only legitimate nudist thread ever, and it's swarmed by the very perverted-nudist-apologists that it calls out, who make nudism so unappealing.

I like backpacking and sailing nude, and I'm always naked when relaxing inside...but no need to flash the world. "How did the orangutan lose all it's hair, Mommy?"

    nudĀ·ism
:the practice of going nude especially in sexually mixed groups and during periods of time spent at specially secluded places.

A nudist practices nudism. This person goes to places where there are other nude people of both sexes. That person goes to places where there are other nude people of both sexes. Both this person and that person are nudists, by definition.

But, this person says: "There is nothing sexual about nudity, if that person thinks there is, he/she is a pervert. Only people believing and acting according to my beliefs and rules are "nudists." The perverts are wrecking everything.

That person says: "Nudity is very sexual, if I, or others are stimulated by watching others, or by being watched by others, there is nothing wrong with that." Children around? Well, the religious cult nudists should leave them home, or teach them the facts of life."

So, who is right? Who is wrong?

Both are right, and both are wrong. They are both nudists. They practice nudism from differing views. There is nothing wrong with a family setting with children. There is nothing wrong with a sexual setting with adults. Things can be accomplished discreetly in any setting. Does anybody think two strangers meeting at a family resort have never met at one or the other's room and had sex? Does anybody think that two strangers meeting at a sexually oriented resort have not had sex? I assure you, both have happened.

Obviously, they should practice their particular brands in resorts, or, beaches where their particular customs are followed.

But, trying to claim the "nudist" title for one's self, setting one's own standards, just doesn't work.

See the definition at the beginning. That's it.
