I love Scrabble. I've been playing Scrabble for over ten years now. Scrabble is an intensely competitive game but I admit, I'm mediocre at best. When I first started playing I thought I was soo good. BAH! The pros are so very humbling and admirable, they're simply amazing. Words are my fancy. Some of my favorite words are: cwm, hapax, miaou, vrouw (also spelled vrow), xenia and some others. That game is like an Ouija board. I'm loaded with awesome stories to tell about my relationship and experiences with Scrabble. Totally amazing stuff. Anyway here's a screen shot of the big shots on the site I play at. These top players always draw an audience (observers). They're just awesome. Lastly, the amazing Liz Dubelman of jibjab.com. She's the creator of Craziest, which is a must watch for any Scrabble player or fan. http://youtu.be/ORGMRi_nAgM Word up (lolling) http://youtu.be/MZjAantupsA
I really like scrabble. I havn't played in a while. It's really the only board game that keeps my interest. I once answered a craigslist ad from someone looking for a partner to play scrabble with, lol. I fell in love with him, of course, and we'd play scrabble all the time. Hmmm, I've never played scrabble stoned or drunk and now I want to...
lol I never found players in the real world who really got into it like I did. Well, except for my mother but that doesn't count. I always wanted to be cool, join the NSA but it's too intimidating. I've played stoned or drunk many, many times ..
I love Scrabble. My Mum was the only one who's ever wanted to play it with me though, and we haven't done that for years. A shame really.
Playing Scrabble with me was the best thing my Mum ever did. It instilled in me a love for words, which is good because I was (and still am) hopeless with numbers.
