If anything, that means he was absolutely NOT on duty in ANY official capacity - he was entirely unable to be, he was clocked in at another job. Another job that comes with absolutely NO special law enforcement privileges.

Though it may make the whole thing slightly more plausible, if not acceptable.

The only show my TV gets is super mario.

Doesn't mean that I would do something stupid like trust professional thugs. Maybe it was justified, and maybe it wasn't, but because police said that it was and said that they have evidence that it was means basically nothing.

 

I agree with this, however I do not agree with the percentages. I cannot give any accurate statistics on this, but I know of the videos I have watched regarding both cops shooting people and getting into altercations no more than 65% would seem to fit.
That means 13 out of 20 cop shootings is truly justified. But...what about the 7?

That reminds me of a video I saw a few years ago showing a BART cop shooting an unarmed and totally compliant & obedient black college student to death. Bam. Unprovoked. Or the videos showing two cops mace and assault a man in a wheelchair. The first video showed the man in the wheelchair getting physically violent. Another video showed the cops stop him, harass him, then mace him, and then they man-handled him giving him a face plant into the sidewalk because he went into seizures from the fucking mace. You should have seen how bloody his face was. That was like so totally fucked up.

But I have also shot video of cops, and I have seen scenarios that in real life were a total 180* different from how it played out on video.

Yes. I keep thinking there are good cops out there, but those really are so few and far between. If there are so many good cops, where are they? Hiding, of course. Because as has been proven time and time again that when a good cop is on a call, the bod cops show up, odds are the good cop is leaving in a body bag. The bad cops won’t don’t anything to the good cops. In fact, they won’t do a damned thing at all. And that scares the good cops.

I figure if the job is so hard for a cop to do it according to their oath and standards, then they best just find another job. Because sadly for the cops, there are case laws out there that can exonerate a cop killer, under the right circumstances.

No, not by any means. However, when the majority of crimes are committed by people of color, and when a man of color assaults a white cop, and the white cop kills the man of color in self-defense, to you and I we see what the real statistics are. But to those that havn’t been there, they don’t see those numbers. They don’t understand. Then there are those that don’t care. They just hate cops.

I have walked down some black neighborhoods where my life was in danger. It's not because its a black ghetto, it's because its a ghetto. Has anyone done any research on the neighborhood that this took place in?



On another note to add to the cops defense, profiling works; if some black kid is shooting at me and im in a ghetto im gonna either tuck tail and run, call for backup or kill his ass on the spot and mark the street as a killzone and shoot anyone who starts a cock'eye towards me...

I have to agree with most of what NoxiousGas said about the first post... No if we are going to analyze this post and tear it apart precisely we can say that literally taken there is no opinion in it. But it sure seems like the last 2 lines imply it has to be a race issue according to OP.

I'm only saying how it looked to me at first instance and how I can see NG felt like pointing it out. two Long Beach, Ca cops that I knew both carried untraceable "throwaway" guns, on and off duty.
but admittedly they were the type of cops you DO NOT want to have to deal with in any "professional" manner. Heck I was more or less friends with one of them, and he still scared the shit outta me.
