    Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Not as good as the LEGO movie, but I liked it.

Of course you have to be a fan of the original Mr. Peabody. My wife didn't like it.

I watched Prometheus for the first time. Nothing too brilliant but I enjoyed it anyway. Nice scifi.

I thought it was good entertainment and not a bad tribute to the original at all. But I never got hat much into masked cowboys/heroes (except Zorro, probably for nostalgic reasons :D)

I liked Grand Budapest Hotel. It was pretty good.

Just watched Inglorious Bastards which seems to have gotten pretty good ratings and Oscar nominations but I wasn't impressed at all. Christoph Waltz's performance was good.
Typical Quentin Tarantino film, which I always think of as kind of juvenile.

Brad Pitt needs someone to read his scripts before he takes them on.

I liked it, I thought it was funny and held my interest.. I could of done without the roller-coaster railroad scene but the rest was good.

The Art of Love. 1965 Dick van Dike, a young James Garner, the cute Elke Sommer .. cant say I followed the movie very well but it was ok. :D

Looks russian :p Never heard of it before but I googled it (and noticed it is an international effort ;)). I'm gonna look it up too!

Sometimes it remarkable how different people judge a movie or actor's performance. To me that guy with the apfelstrudel was overacting a lot! And not in a good way.

Anyway, I usually am not overly impressed with Tarantino's movies neither. It's not that he is bad (at all!) it is just that the most impressive things are always clearly taken from other movies and directors. Watching how certain scenes are build up and acted out in Inglorious bastards is like watching a tribute to spaghetti westerns. It is ok, because I like that style and the tribute is good, but I also get the feeling with his movies that I'm watching something recycled. I like the random conversations he always has in his movies though.

Yes, I did notice that. Some scenes he did well others he over acted in...I attributed that to Direction.

I agree, some scenes he did better. I think I saw him proclaim in a making of that he was given a lot of freedom to fill in the exact role but that would still be granted to him by the director.

The old Django seemed like a completely different movie to me, even the main character. For a B movie it was ok. But even in its own (sub)genre there are a lot of better B movies (Death rides a horse, or Face to face for example).
