Do Americans eat cod fish? Is that a fish that many eat or is it just big in Europe? I mean do you see cod on the supermarket shelves in the USA?
no, they are not in general grocery stores. Do they taste like normal fish or do they not taste like a fish?
It is sold as baccalo to Spanish speaking peoples, very salty cured fish. fresh its named scrod. Its served as scrod in a restaurant. We do have fish & chips and yep! its cod.
they are like squid, but sort of round..wait, i think i am thinking of coddle fish, something like that maybe they are just the type of fish "cod" which you can find pretty easily
I just wondered becaue I see some strange fish being impoted into Britain that comes from places like the USA and Africa etc. I even saw swordfish the other week - I tasted swordfish and it didnt taste like fish it tasted like something more like pork. Infact now I think about it pork tastes more like swordfish
We eat it in Canada, no problemo We have swordfish too, it's just a little difficult to find sometimes
cod is a major NE industry. i think it is used in frozen fish mostly. satl cod is far out of favor because of refrigeration.
Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, a lot of the frozen fish products (fish sticks and the like) are cod. I could be mistaken though.
All most every bar has some version of fish and chips. Breaded fried cod. The problem with supermarket is mostly from China. Not the same level of sanitation as eu or uk.
