im sorry i hurt your feelings brah, lets just have a civilized convo from here on. lets recap your theory real quick: now lets look at my theory: which one of these seems more likely to you?
Ironic that the bible seems to point to, in the last days, a one-world govt. led by a man (the "anti-christ") who, through charisma, becomes the leader of the world, subdues and eliminates all religion and establishes the one world order, to be destroyed when Christ returns to set up his kingdom. A lot of professed Christians are all about predictions, and predicting just who will this man be,,
its going exactly as planned, you'll be able to fulfill your fantasies of spreading me and fucking the shit out of me soon enough! oh my god i cant wait to taste you and run my hands through your sexy curly red hair, oh my gawd your making me wet!!!
So one has to be without sense and without depth of knowledge to convict an entire relgion Which ever relgion, just a whole bunch of prose written by Men thousands to hundreds of years ago, just really so they could be the most important people in the village, hoard most of the food, an excuse to fuck everyone elses daughter, sometimes son....control the sheeple How many ordinary "muslim" immigrants in your country are you defending, that may still partake in some ceremonies, as we do...but dont really believe any of it. Only really had to publically express their faith out of fear of getting shot 95% is the often quoted figure people pull out of their ass when talking about belief, 95% of the worlds population believe in some god or other. What is that figure really, how many ACTUALLY believe and dont just say they do out of fear of what everyone else thinks 5%? Those parades in North Korea, you dont really believe all those people give a shit about their leader, think their government is that wondeful
You are leaving out the important part of what I said. If one would have in depth knowledge or an actual interest in religion they would not convict the entire religion as bad or evil. People that are rambling lately about islam and how bad it is seem to hardly know any muslims or how they experience their religion. They convicted the religion to wich they never payed any attention on what they hear in the news about extremists doing things in the name of islam. It is just really ignorant and jumping to conclusions. Tolerance and understanding begins at people and ideas that are not your own. It is not that hard to tolerate people if you already accept them So when I say supposedly sensible and tolerant when we talk about people who convict an entire religion because they don't like what they notice in the media (which reports the news, not how good average muslims are behaving normal everyday ) and not because they know so much about it then yes I picked the right words. Well, if you think that is all what is religion about I think I can rest my case. You sound like a parrot in above quote, but just because religions are (ab)used to serve a particular kind of people or social/political interest does not mean that is their sole purpose or that is why they came to be. You leave any spiritual aspect out already. Hey, we don't have to like or share those spiritual aspects, but what you are doing here is pretty much ignoring they are to many the most important part. Not sure what is your point here? Because there are gradations in how seriously people believe there isn't a point in including them in the muslim community? Or there isn't a point in telling it is worth to make a distinction between fundamentalists and normal muslims because normal muslims might be just as secular as us? I'm guessing what you mean to say here
Good points, except I wanna point out I am not downplaying the problem of extremists when I say the majority of muslims is moderate. Yes, the moderate muslims are pretty much irrelevant in this case but I never start including them. My posts about moderate muslims are mostly reactionary to posts of people who drag the moderates into it by insisting the problem is islam or muslims in general.
the wages of fanatacism is ignorance, superstition and feudalism. christianity and islam don't hold a patent on it, but they certainly seem to have cornered the market. but then its the fanatical capitalism, motivated by greed, that has manuvered to marginalize and trivialize real science, while hiding behind the skerts of religion to do so. so its not really the fault of these religions either, but they do make it possible by making people gullible.
