mild morning ......its not to bad out there....i'm heading out....

 

dog is getting used to the deer and has stopped barking at them and now he just watches them.....hoping they will come close enough he can play with them lol

there is another 5-6 deer out of the shot but all are about 50 yards away from the front door.....staring contest....btw...the dog won.....

The weather has been great here lately. Awesome!

RF: The most important phrase I say to my family is "I love you". But another very effective point I've made to my sons (daughter isn't quite old enough for it to apply so much)....is "Bulletproof". I can say it in front of anyone and only they know what I mean. Being bulletproof means not putting yourself in any situation where an allegation or negative outcome has a chance at sticking to you. You don't conduct yourself in a way that may allow that. It means different things in different scenarios but they always know what I'm saying. So far, so good. Just thinking of it because the last thing I just texted to one of my sons was "bulletproof".

its a workday today......hovering round zero....muttley is was standing over me when I opened my eyes.......just drilling holes in me......he wanted out earlier than usual this morning

 

It has been snowing since the middle of the night here, so road conditions are bad again, and as the snow continues to fall....good news is I get the day off from jogging the dogs. that always puts a smile on my face.....
might have to trudge through the snow with them for a mile though, later....or it will be messy around here and they will be too wild in this house.....the outside calms them down, as they are always happy to be home after being outside.

 

i like snow. wished it would snow here, be careful if you do go outside don't wanna fall on your ass

sort of raining here.....tiny specs probably turn to snow soon.......burning off dead straw from the coop

 

Dull day here so I expect we will be getting that soon as well. I am hoping for big fluffy flakes that will cover up all of the ugly salt stained snow.

 

That reminded me. We were driving the daughter home last night from her birthday celebration,..about 3:30 a.m., and hubby told her to remind him which drive was hers. We've only been to this place once before. She said, "It's right after the deers; there's always 2 - 4 of them waiting on me to get home." Sure enough, in another few hundred feet there were 3 deer waiting in the front yard next to her driveway.

 

finally figured out why this damn 4 wheeler wont engage one wheel...my patience to figure it correctly saved the guy a few hundred bucks in parts that would have been wasted


picked up a big assorted sushi meal pack for supper yum
