I just checked again and its supposedto hit 80 by midweek lol. Just a few days ago it was in the 30s and 40s.
This And this. Humidity, temperature variations, confined exposure to carriers, lessened exercise / poorer circulation How these viruses transfer, operate and invade. I'd put all of those ahead of anything to do wih diet PR, to really put this diet-centric idea to the test, you'd really need to go spend a winter in a house with half a dozen kids, or whole bunch of relatives, apply the same diet techniques and come back and tell us how often you get sick If you havent been getting sick the last couple years during those sudden temperature changes, start or end of winter/summer, the most likely reason is probably becuase you live alone
I used to take about 1000 iu of D3 daily, but had to stop because I got insomnia while taking it. Vitamin D supplements can be good for you in at least some cases, but anything that is powerful enough to cure a disease in the right dose and the right situation is also powerful enough to cause disease in the wrong dose and the wrong situation, imho. I don't see a good reason for most people to try to push the envelope of what a safe dose may be, unless there is a compelling reason why they could not take less. What I've read up on hydrogen peroxide is on the warning label, "For external use only". If you've got a study that says otherwise, then cite it. Otherwise you're just a moron.
Here's an article about the nasal spray solution http://www.earthclinic.com/sinus-infection/hydrogen-peroxide-sea-salt-treatment.html
I work in an extremely germful environment and am fairly regularly exposed to shit and vomit yet very rarely get sick. When I do get sick, I tend to get over it pretty fast. The elderly are just as bad as young kids when it comes to spreading germs.
I read somewhere about a study on the effects of hydrogen peroxide. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! This was done as a clinical trial and I will not be held resposible if anyone does decide to try it. Furthermore, if you do decide to try it... that would make you quite moronic. Anyways, with the disclaimer out of the way haha... They slowly increased the amount of hydrogen peroxide mixed with water and had patients drink it and resulted in amazing health boosting power. They sort of weened them on and off of the peroxide mix and found that it does in fact oxygenate and purify the blood in your body. I'll try to find a link. I looked it up on my phone when looking for something to get rid of ants in one of my potted plants, so I lost the source. Disclaimer (cont'd) 3.5% Pharmaceutical Grade: This is the grade sold at your local drugstore or supermarket. This product is not recommended for internal use. It contains an assortment of stabilizers which shouldn't be ingested. Various stabilizers include: acetanilide, phenol, sodium stanate and tertrasodium phosphate. Here's a link with a ton of info on Hydrogen Peroxide http://www.educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.shtml I believe this is the webpage I found a few months ago regarding Hydrogen Peroxide therapy http://www.the-natural-path.com/hydrogen-peroxide-therapy.html I find this to be very interesting, a chemical that's been around for so long finding so many health benifits to it. I hope they do a lot more studying, I'm excited to see some results! Of course, the medical system, the way it is now, if it's cheap and doesn't rake in a lot of money, highly unlikely that it will recieve practical use in the healthcare system.
Oh you've got to be kidding...Powdered breast milk? Most of the immune boosting property's of colostrum(to the nursing baby) is from the bacteria contained in the raw milk, you're not going to get that from dried.
I work in what might be the germiest environment on the planet. Not a day goes by where I don't get directly exposed to at least 10 different contagious viruses. I haven't gotten sick once in the 3 years I've been working there. I don't really understand how or why. The closest thing to advice I could provide (based on my lifestyle)... -Vegetarian --haven't gotten sick since cutting out the meat (well, not REAL sick, maybe a sort of "pre sick" where I feel stuffed up for an hour in the morning and then it goes away). -Whole food diet, low on processed food, emphasis on organic, but not psycho about it. -Not a germ-a-phobe. No obsessive hand washing or hand sanitizing (that stuff is the devil). The problem with this is that I have no way of knowing what would have happened if I had been a meat eating, processed food guzzling, germ-a-phobic mess. Maybe I would have been healthy anyway. Or maybe there is another variable that I'm missing.
