I've never had any strong feelings about the day, whether I was single or not. When my husband and I first started dating, I requested that we not celebrate valentines, due to me being too lazy to actually think of a thoughtful valentine. Last year was the first year he took me out for valentines. He said he was tired of me skipping over March 14th's Steak and Blowjob day.
haha steak and blowjob day sounds interesting. I vaguely considered actually celebrating today but couldn't be bothered with making reservations or finding a babysitter.
Just saw this on the Book of Face:- "On Friday 13th 1307, King Philip of France, with the consent of Pope Clement V falsely accused the order of Knights Templar of heresy to relieve his debts to him. They were tortured into confession and burnt at the stake" So not a good Day for the (k) Nights + Food for thought
It was all about the money and power that order had acquired, Billy. Same old, same old. They were (perceived as) a threat to both kings and the head of church.
What are you doing today? It is snowing yet again, but will try to take dogs out for their exercise somewhat, and will go out to eat. I have not decided yet...Seafood restaurant or Italian? Made reservations for both....lol will decide at last minute....depending on what my stomach wants then....
i got off work a couple hours early. it had nothing to do with the fact that it's valentine's day, but it was still a good part of the day.
i spent the day tidying my flat and thinking of the one i love. oh yeah the i went out too see friends
