I would love to live at the beach. Anybody who reads Hip Forums Virtual Wilderness Getaway thread already knows that!
Me, too, Ari....so the beach it is.....and since it has been winter storming here since Thanksgiving this season...I am ready..... I agree, Skip...not too many tourists or boats......
A tropical island. I have done that, and it was wonderful. I will hopefully do it again. Any tropical island in a cheap country with easy visas will do. Cambodia and Vietnam are good options. I will probably also live in Japan for a few years at some point, since my wife is Japanese and I'd like our children to experience the culture. I have a pretty solid plan to gain us financial independence and will hopefully be able to go somewhere tropical again in 5-10 years, and stay without having to worry about the future.
Italy. That slow paced Italian lifestyle along with amazing food, coffee, and wine, history, art, and architecture everywhere you go sounds like absolute heaven to me.
someplace green. where i could stop and sit and just enjoy that its a fine day. without feeling that i was in the way, or unwelcome to do so. someplace with lots of shade from trees, and the ground irregular enough to be interesting. i wouldn't want the weather ever to get too hot either. it could get cold once in a while, if it didn't stay that way. i'd rather have the cold then the hot. to be purrfect though, it would be like spring most of the time. where people weren't constantly trying to sell you an illogical and irrational way of looking at things and thinking themselves doing each other some kind of favor to do so.
I would live in my space ship that is the size of Earth, yet has infinite rooms.....rooms that can occupy a huge space inside but have a small exterior...don't ask me how that would work, you did say live anywhere
Here's fine... I love this place. Now if I could figure out how to make it 80 acres of woods instead of 8 I'd be in heaven.
Hawaii is so laid back. No ones ever in a hurry. The water so clear and warm there. The humidity is nice. I wanna go back
Italy for me. I'd like to live on the western coast overlooking the sea from my own olive grove. La dolce vita :daisy:
Just the weather alone, OMG, it stays around the mid to high 20s, celsius that is, morning noon and night, and kind of stays that way the whole year round And surprisingly cheap considering it is technically the US Love the place
I could never pick just one spot. In summer, I'd like to bounce around the old northeastern cities of the US, soaking up all the culture and history. Winter needs to be in a milder climate, maybe New Orleans. Spring and fall, the southeastern mountains are definitely the place for me; filled with natural beauty and very few people.
Hawaii is beautiful if you know how to do it, and where to explore. otherwise you dealing with a bunch of rich fat whites and racist native landers who hate the rich whites. If you are part of neither you just want to get the fuck out. There other tropic places
I like the West Florida and the Florida Keys, parts of CA, parts of Central/South America, Southern Spain and parts of Africa and India. It'd be hard to choose one place in particular.
