this one time when we was teenagers. we stumbled on drums of paint products... being we was teens we was kinda stupid and rolled out a 50gl drum of this stuff into open dirt lot... tipped it over and set it on fire. It looked like a nuke went off big black mushroom cloud . it wasnt really that bad tho cause it went out in a flash. so we said fuck that, and rolled 5 barrels of that shit and dumped it into the dirt lot and set it on fire..... ,Iol. it was like half a football field wide .. we ran like hell from that one it was a holy shit moment..

When he was a teenager, my former husband set several hundred of acres of woods on fire between an apartment complex and the interstate. It was him and another boy trying to make a campfire. There were lots of fire engines, helicopters, news crews, police, etc.

No one ever found out who was responsible.

^^^ For some reason I find that to be a very strange picture...strange even if it wasn't moving.

I read an excellent book (fiction) called Cold Mountain...it was written about the time of the civil war (or as many of us southerners prefer to call it - the War of Northern Aggression :D )...and about the people, the plain people that had no "dog in the fight" that were basically forced to participate.

I think that pic was made in Virginia.

One of my great x3 granpa's was captured and died in that hellacious prison camp in Chicago. He was accounted for and his name is on the confederate monument up there at the mass burial site.

Its also amazing how EMT's remember people.

One guy in line asked me a few questions... damn man how you know that? Things are good yeah she is ok, nothing crazy happened again like that night you showed up.

    EMT's are amazing people.

so baby looks good. cyst is adjacent to the umbilical cord (as opposed to embedded in) on the placenta end. not big, and looks like a soft cyst. the doc says it is not likely to impede blood flow, and it doesnt seem to be stealing much of anything from him, since it is soft and squishy.
kiddo wanted to play a game of "poke back" while the doc kept looking. long legs, all limbs and bones accounted for. belly looks good, etc etc. said i could take low dose aspirin, but i need to do more research.

    im very relieved.

I am trying not to be sick. I started with the Mucinex a few nights ago. I think it helps some. Working with the public, with money, with children coughing, hacking away and NEVER EVER covering their mouths...with the parents standing there coughing and hacking away too...

All I know for absolute certain is that its almost 4am, I've had my absolute limit of anything containing ibuprofen and acetaminophen for at least 6 more hours and I can't sleep for this congested breathing and then wheezing. :wall:

DOES ANYBODY THAT GOES OUT IN PUBLIC KNOW HOW TO COVER THEIR MOUTHS WHEN THEY COUGH? [IMG]

So, I go to work at 3 tomorrow aft.

    Dear God.

    I'm thrilled I'm not broke though. :D

Yeah, 'cause you have money for the doctor bills which you wouldn't need if work didn't make you sick.

    Feel better, Lynn!!!

Pretty much where I'm at. Can barely breathe and I wake up feeling like I was breathing in sandpaper all night. I don't feel sick, just congested, but that's just in the middle enough to make you feel like crud because you have no real excuse not to continue the day like normal.

    -_-

On top of using the Mucinex, try keeping things flushed out and moving with saline nasal spray and drink lots of fluids.
