well to me, it makes no sense to use a car to take the same route every time. i count my self very lucky that because my dad worked for the railroad, we were able to live in little towns and villages up in the mountains, surrounded by semi, and even complete, wilderness. when we went into the city, sacramento, or the san francisco bay area, we always rode down there on the train on his pass, which was free. it was only the last year i was in high school that we moved down to auburn, the one in california, and he bought his first car, a little red 64 datsun pickup. then we made up for all the years he didn't have one, exploring every back road in california, from where we were. mostly north from there. all over the northern end of california and nevada.
favorite activity would have to be playing on the computer. not the kind of games, but making art, or playing with train sims, or the places like on here that i visit all the time. also i like scratch building physical scale models from my own designs. of houses and trains mostly. i so also, a number of other art forms. i can also draw and ink and paint do some extent, but its really being able to do so on the computer, without needing a lot of other supplies or a place to work with them, and just as something to do with the computer itself, because that's something i've always liked before there were any of the kind ordinary people have now. none of this stuff, personal computers or the internet, existed yet when i was growing up. in the 70s and 80s i read a lot of science fiction, and had some of the early 8-bit personal computers when they first became available, before they even had disc drives for them. when you had to store programs on audio cassette or paper tape. playing leggos with ttl on white boards is something i used to do a lot more of too. well i'm always imagineering eco-friendly infrastructure in my head, which inspires my cg art.
