No pic, but I made a pizza for dinner. Pepperoni, tomatoes, onions and chili flakes. And a spring mix salad of baby greens with strawberries and red onions, with a homemade olive oil and apple cider vinegar dressing. And a couple of teaspoons of chia seed on top. Yum!

I didn't get a pic, I didn't have my camera with me (!!) but I made a quick shrimp garlic pasta that turned out great. I had some leftover spaghetti noodles and a brochette of shrimps that I couldn't get to bbq’ing so I slid them off the skewer and sautéed them quickly in olive oil and a bit of salt, and butter, garlic, mushrooms, tarragon, basil, diced up a few slices of tomato and poured it all over the heated noodles, a few turns of the pepper mill and voila! Sometimes the meals you fuss over the least turn out the best.

I cooked up some onions and zucchini in a frying pan, and ate it with a pre-roasted chicken. It was delish.

Ha ha! As I was reading I thought it was some new recipe, like blackened fish. Did the potatoes get charred too? You don't want them feeling left out.

Ive noticed the pork has been very cheap lately .. i got 30lbs of it a few weeks ago.1$lbs. Im still picking up ribs and other chops at low prices.

my potatoes were safe inside their skins and foil..

This morning, I saw a pic of a pork loin with the granny smith slices stuck in it. It was on then! I knew I had to have that tonight.

there was something on the news here a while back about pork prices going way down due to the US having so much we can import it cheap now (apparently there was some kind of sickness here and we were short for a while on our own farms)
