    Same. :D

I often reflect on myself and you know I haven't changed one bit since I was a child. I'm into the same stuff now just more mature and knowledgable about things but personality wise, I'm still that same girl kicking dust up from the yard where the grass wouldn't grow. Always with a song in my head etc. happy go lucky, off in space, my own world. My stuffed animals have always been there through my life. They aren't just toys, they are apart of my family now. Like dolls to some people. But sometimes it makes me sad and I cry that I don't hang out with them as much anymore. Partner and I spoke about this lately and realized its just the real dog we have now. But I can remember the very moment I bought each and every one. I know why I named them what I did etc. one of my biggest fears about them is them getting old and non replaceable. And when I try and find them on the internet it's very rare I find ones I like.

Stuffed safari .com has some seriously adorable realistic plush stuff. I really want the giant squid and the Woolley mammoth and a triceratops from there. :D

I had a small tiger called Blaze. I've had it so long now it was a present I bought my partner when I was like 15. He always wanted to be bigger. A big tiger. For years he complained. One day we bought big Blaze. He was 5x the size maybe more. :D but he can't travel anymore so he transforms back to small blaze for vacational purposes.

I don't recall having a stuffed animal for any significant amount of time but I did have a blue blanket for like 20 years.

Irm, the more I get to know you, the more I really like you.

I love when people are able to hold onto and cherish their inner child. It really is an amazing quality that not many people have, and when I meet people who are like that, I tend to cherish them and connect with them more than others.

I always figured that having a song in my head all the time was a result of my ADD. I didn't connect it with my inner child. You've opened my eyes here...

It used to annoyed me to no bitter end, always having a song in my head. I'm learning to live with it though. Sometimes I even cannot help but skip down the road to the tune of the song in my head. Or, if it has been there all day, I will just belt it out. Sometimes, I just HAVE to belt it out.

I live downtown, so doing crazy things like singing or skipping down the street isn't actually all that crazy. No one really cares. If I were to do such a thing in the suburbs though, people would probably stop and stare.

Ahh, okay. I am sorry to hear that. Are the conditions still causing you some problems now, or did they get sorted for the most part?

i had a plushie named floppy when i was little. he wasn't a bear. he was a little dog with currly black fur. he was my pillow. after several years of this, of course he actually became 'floppy'.

i don't sleep with plushies. no. i know people who hand make and collect art plushies, of all sorts of creatures, even imaginary ones.

the bear is kind of a cleche', though a lot of people still like them.

at one time i had a long plushie snake, with very long fake fur, who was very useful for stopping drafts under doors.

my wife had several when i married her, and i've kept those and found a few others i liked at yard sales and such.

my favorite is a little chubby grey, i'm not sure exactly what, with white fluffy bird/angel wings, that by attaching the base of the wings with nylon fish line to a blade of the ceiling fan we had there, she would fly in quite natural looking circles under it when we turned it on, providing something of a soft hazard to particularly tall visitors.

there is also a frog she made, named barthalamew.

there's a red plushie cat in a clear bag, which is of course the cat is in the bag.

Sure, I have a stuffed animal collection here....I don't remember ever sleeping with one though.....maybe when I was little, but I doubt it...they are just around to keep me company. LOL

I remember one year i spotted a big teddy bear and wanted him so badly....i told my parents......and before Christmas i went to look at him again at the store and saw he was gone. I was so upset. there was only one of him, and i cried to my parents....some other lucky girl got my teddy....that Christmas....my father handed him to me....and said some other lucky girl, eh? I still have him.....lol.... :)

No need to be sorry. It is what is it. Some people are lucky enough to be born heathy and some aren't. That's life.

Anyways, the two I was born with aren't causing me any problems. But, I could still get surgeries for one of my medical conditions just to make life more comfortable for me. I just haven't gotten around to it.

The bed bug is super creepy and weird....I kind of want one, but I'd feel weird having a plush bed bug in my bed...

I have a large bear collection, and I have fallen asleep with one a few times, but not intentionally.
