dinner is our evening meal....usually about 5 or 6 pm.....halfway through dinner means the point in time that is in the middle of the meal

''in the middle of eating supper''

Muslims cant eat til after sunset during the month of Ramadan .. That is 8:40pm today, if you start eating at this times,, 1/2 way should be 9pm. Im a guess you like a big meal so its probiably like 10:30 to you..

    Hello,

after approx. 20 minutes one starts feeling the sensation of satiety. Having that in mind, you better have your plate empty within 20 minutes ;).

    Regards

It means you completed 2 courses of your 4 course dinner at Olive Garden (which in itself is quite a feat since whatever they serve only partially resembles anything Italian)

Halfway through dinner means it's time for the guys in Mumbai to call me about my internet package.

I always hear this use with through in movies but don't get it.
Can I also say I am halfway through New York? Which I think should mean I went halfway in New York?
