Maybe he's just to busy being concerned about things he can fix... unlike his hair!

 

Have you ever seen his speeches? He gets so riled up, that's how his hair gets messed up. Appreciate his passion-tousled hair

 

I like what he's saying now about unrestricted trade with China being a complete disaster for America. For years, everybody from both parties has been saying the opposite.

 

Yeah, he's awesome at not pandering and just attacking things right in the feels.
The best part is that he's stood for (and acted on) the same things for the past few decades.
So, we know that if he gets into office, these are the principles he'll still hold once he's voted in.

 

I agree. I have told a few of my friends about Bernie Sanders and I share a lot of articles having to do with him often. Because of my annoying Facebook posts, a bunch of people have decided to vote for him. My social medias have been blowing up with stuff about him as well. He's definitely riled up the millenials (I'm one of them) and gotten people like myself feeling less apathetic about the idea that voting can actually make a difference if there's a candidate you believe in. Rather than voting for the lesser of two evils.

 

man I dont want to get ahead of myself but I actually think he might have a fighting chance. If he can secure the democratic nomination I can't really think of a Republican who could compete with him. Maybe Rand Paul. That's a race I would actually really like to see.

 

He's a billionare who gabs about wealth inequality. Can you actually believe that and keep a straight face at the same time? I sure as hell can't.

I contributed to his campaign. He's been saying the same thing for 30 years and he's not bought off by billionaires.

 

I was just mentioning this to my wife a little while ago, how he could easily be the best candidate to put up against the Republicans.
The only thing I really see him getting hit on (besides being a socialist) is his backing of Israel... and Republicans aren't about to chastise someone for supporting Israel.

But with Hillary, they'll attack her on her emails, Benghazi (even though she did nothing wrong there), her connections to Wall Street, having changed positions on several things during her political career, and the whole "dynasty" issue.
Granted, if Republicans get Bush, then the dynasty argument loses all steam (although it never has it to begin with, if we get Sanders).


Hell, the media's insistence that he can't get the nomination might work in his favor by firing up the "yes he can!" grassroots base.
I also wish they'd stop referring to him as picking up the mantle of Elizabeth Warren... he's carrying his own mantle, they're just very similar.

What I keep wondering is who he'd be interested in as Veep... assuming Warren wouldn't want it, I'm wondering if he'd also go for Joaquin Castro or if he might give a leg up to O'Malley.
Or maybe someone I'm not thinking of at all...

 

I'm pretty sure I won't be able to convince ya. But I-phones. Or UPS vs. P.O.

 

Well, iPhones are a bad example... it's not something that was a public government program that went privatized.
It certainly isn't comparable to the educational system.

And the P.O. still does a good job and they weren't privatized, they just have private companies that are competition.
So that's another bad example.

You'd have to bring apples to the apple comparing competition.
So far you've only brought oranges.

 

Do you even have access to my voting habits? Sanders is a champagne socialist, he has no intention of lowering his own standard of living to improve everyone else's. Same thing with the likes of Russel Brand and Liz Warren. These types of people want you to sacrafice more of what you have, without doing the same thing themselves.

 

Name anyone else that is concerned about the middle class, besides Sanders and Warren. Name ANY republican that is. So, I suppose you're either rich or listen to too much Limbaugh. Just guessing, of course, because there are many that vote against their own interests, which is what one does if one is middle class and votes for republicans. No, I don't have access to your voting record, but I've heard statements such as you made MANY times before. Sanders and Warren are more--'we're all in this together," rather than -"I got mine--fuck the rest of you slacker/losers."

So--are you going to take back what you said about him being a billionaire?

Don't you think the P.O. is inefficient? I certainly do. Do you think a government bureau would be able to make an I-phone widely available?

Why don't you come up with an example of the opposite? Where government is more efficient than the private sector in an open sector of the economy? And how come the U.S.S.R. wasn't the most efficient country in the world and North Korea isn't today?

 

I dont think the point is the government's ability or inability to turn a profit.

things like prison, schools, the medical system, etc are all prone to corruption when their entire purpose is profit.
