driving another 150/400miles to the next show, pulling in the camping forest areas lost, being harassed by rangers and state police, going from extreme psychedelic bright light show to totally darkened highway under the influence, carrying other drugs, being 1000miles from very home, just wanting to see Jerry and Bob perform for no other reason at all but to see a couple of dudes play guitar and sing and remember every last minute of it.. acid/been there done that, much more enjoyable in my own place and times..

Yeah it's more fun when you can just walk to the stadium and go home whenever you want. I used to live blocks from Mile high stadium in Denver. When there was a concert there was always someone selling acid at the gate. In my experience, It was the only way to survive those all-day outdoor shows in the blazing sun, lol. One memorable "Sunday" show featured Heart, Ted Nugent, The Cars, UFO and Nils lofgren

I smoked some weed before going to see the Great Pyramids it was 2yrs after 911, wasnt that enjoyable. I have also smoked in Germany, South Korea, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. its just weed so nothing really to tell there. :)

Funny thing happened at the Dead shows.. for some odd reason cannabis turned psychedelic really easy. Id pre-roll a few for inside and the next thing I know I would be having +2 trips but my comfort level would get stranger and stranger much sooner I noticed not even getting high at the shows.

So far I've only tripped in my own town at places like house parties, camping out, hotels, or my house. But sometimes myself or my husband will do what we call a day trip. One of us takes a smaller dose than usual and the other stays sober to take the trippy hippy to do fun things. I haven't done it yet, but I took my husband to a park we never visited before and went to a midnight bowling thing with blacklights and such. A must do for couples that trip, just sayin'...its a blast whether your the one with an altered state of mind or the sober one.:)
