Everything in that recipe is cooked, btw; except the fish oil and diatamaceous earth. The fish oil capsules are chopped up in the magic bullet and mixed in.

While I have the carpeting out of the bedroom, I'm thinking about painting in there.

    My carpet wasn't magic.

It was old and dirty and wet and smelly.

I think I'm looking for the perfect "neutral" for me so that I can put the colors into the furnishings of the bedroom. I'm pretty sure what I want but I'm looking at colors to make sure.

The bedroom has had a neutral color on it for years. My son says to me, "Why paint if you're barely going to change the color?". That's why I'm looking at colors. I know what I like but I don't know how long I'll want to live with it.

On the cat food recipe, you can eat the boiled eggs yourself. The cats just need the shells. I run them through the magic bullet too.

The chicken can be baked and even left half done, if you want.

I just boil mine until it is done and chop it.

I've got the color scheme I want for my bedroom nailed down. Now, it's just a matter of choosing what color to put on the walls.

I'm almost thinking of some shade of antique white at this point, lol

I just made some because I had some leftover chicken. Like I said, I haven't made any for months.

The cats came running in and wanting it when they smelled the carrots and spinach cooking, lol

I didn't even have any chicken out yet.

Aeri... Use an off white that doesn't have a yellow tint which most "antique white" has... go for more of a gray tint to be truly neutral but don't get too dark with it. Just a touch of black tint in bright white is what you want. If you really want a knockout room do the trim, door frame, baseboard, etc. one shade darker.

you had 20 leftover chicken thighs?

my cat gets excited each and every time he gets fed.....I feed him in the morning and again at dinner......the dog just sits perfectly still until I put his food down but the cat will pace around flipping out until you get near him and then he always tries to rub scent as you put the bowl down

Spooky sits before I put his food down.... It's an honor to "Mister Jera" who we lost in the fire.

    Hi Ori.

Rolling, no, I only made a small amount of cat food with a small amount of leftover chicken.

Ty, there is alot of trim in this bedroom. It has 4 doors and a window. I'm leaving them stained wood.

I grew up in a house with colored paint walls.

Then I moved to another life, where I had a "normal" life and I discovered how wonderful it was to have all off-white walls and accent everything with whatever colors I liked - which have been hunter or forest green and a red/crimson/burgundy forever. :D I like yellows and blues and greens in kitchens though.

Now I'm back to colored walls. There are now 2 rooms with white and off white walls. I prefer both of these rooms, but these are the ones where I have my "open organization" going. lol :D I need to get my butt in those rooms and condense some of my "open organization".

Lynn, it's been forever that I've had colored walls.

When I see rooms I like, the common thing is white walls with color on everything else.

The yellow content of most "off white" or "antique white" will visually change whatever other colors you put in the room... That's why I suggested the gray. It will "cool" a bright white without effecting the other colors used in decorating.
