My diet is healthy, and definitely healthier than 95% of the general public which subsists on processed shit. People have been eating meat since the beginning of human existence. Besides, I eat red meat maybe twice per week at the most. The lot of you don't know my diet to be making criticisms of it.
Judo Gene LeBell is 83 and works his students for 6 hours a day. He learned wrestling from Strangler Louis, boxing under Sugar Ray Roberson, trained with or taught Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, Bob Wall, Chuck Norris, Ed Parker, Gokor Chivichyan, Karo Parisyan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Mando Guerrero, Manny Gamburyan....and is a master at Taekwondo, Shotokan, kenpo, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. He's know as the toughest man alive. He advocates eating raw meat. So it can't be all bad.
The problem with meat lies with conventionally raised meat that comes from sick animals which are pumped full of hormones and antibiotics. People have consumed meat since the beginning of mankind, and the rampant disease seen today was virtually non-existent in times past.
Oh good grief, seriously? 95 %? IMO it's not just about meat that you consume, it's shit like eating tons of sugar for a day...stuff like that man. It's an odd diet, and very faddish. I think you will be on to the next one at some point. You post about your diet a lot.
I think eating a decent amount of sugar for ONE day out of 7, and minimally processed food for the other 6 days is a pretty good diet. A lot of people eat nothing but fast food/junk food/processed food, whatever you wanna call it, every single day. I hope he doesnt mind me saying this but Pressed Rat used to be a lard ass, to be blunt. Now he is in great shape and looks better then a lot of the people I see on a day to day basis. And he did it by diet and exercise. he wouldnt like like he does today if he was still eating like he was in the past.
What the fuck are you talking about? Most people eat a ton of sugar EVERYDAY. Sugar is not inherantly bad, it's the degree to which it's consumed in relation to a person's ability to process it. There is nothing faddish about re-charging the metabolism and reseting leptin levels with some sugary foods once per week when otherwise adhering to a healthy diet of unprocessed whole foods.
MOST people...you sure about that? I agree...it is the degree, to eat loads of it all at once like you do is ridiculous. And yes...that leptin thingie you do is nothing but a fad. In my lifetime...I have seen a million of 'em. But you go on wit yer bad self. lol
How is it a fad when it is scientifically proven that leptin levels rise when carbohydrates are introduced following a period of calorie and carbohydrate restriction, which tend cause a plummet in leptin? It is called a refeed. It's nothing new or faddish. Also, I don't eat "loads" of sugar at once except on occasion.
just curious, why do you eat sugary foods for your one day instead of just carb loading with pasta and bread? Any particular reason or just to treat your sweet tooth?
Yeah, basically just personal preference. Most of my high carb days center around potatoes, rice and fruit, but on my "free" days I like to incorporate some goodies.
There doesnt seem to be strong evidence that over use of antibiotics will result in resistance from most bacteria. Most bacteria simply arent complex enough to mutate or mutate quickly enough More complex ones that have built up resistance like the one that causes gonorrhea have surface proteins that avoid an immune response anyway, more the actuao reason for antibiotics notnworking rather than some super special mutation from over use of antibiotics. A lot of misinformation out there, and it may indeed be in part from pharmas wanting to shift focus to more profitable products and medicos in government bodies wanting to sustain reason for keeping their jobs
glad youre feeling better rat...ive had that sort of shit happen to me in the past...gut pain aint fun...
