I finally got a Nintendo Entertainment System

After years of playing on shitty emulators, I have an original NES..

Refurbished, man!

I only have two games for it so far.. Ninja Gaiden & Gauntlet.

I feel complete.......

 

i still have my nes i have super mario and duck hunt

 

Very good console.

I also enjoy SNES for Super Metroid, Mario All Stars.

 

The original NES is best, but I have a NES toploader. Some of my favorites are Ice Hockey, Pinbot, Zanac, Sqoon, Legacy of the Wizard, Magician, Pirates!, Arkanoid, and Bubble Bobble.

 

Good system, although not every arcade port was arcade perfect in graphics and sound. Main thing I noticed is that many non-Nintendo developed games often exceeded those developed by Nintendo. Main issue with the original is if the cartridge doesn't load just right, sometimes a blinking blue screen would occur.

Here's the thing about Bubble Bobble though: there are YouTube videos about it, and must finish Bubble Bobble with both players active to get the Super Bubble Bobble code; must finish Super Bubble Bobble with both players active to get the proper ending. The ending, even for a 1980's game, is simply not worth the effort.

I would love getting another Atari and/or Coleco for the same reason! (Just have cartridges and no console (Just emulators (Which are GOOD but not like the actual console)))

 

gauntlet was one of my favourite games

i also like dash galaxy in the alien asylum

and of course supermario3

marble madness was fun too

and cobra triangle

 

I love the NES! It was before my time, but I enjoy the hell out of this system, so many fun games.

 

i bought an nes sports set nearly complete in box for $7 off a friend who just didnt want it anymore...thats my main nes setup, i have 2 others that are works in progress and one for parts...
