the very first time I tried LSD I took 1/3 of a hit of brown barrel.
Only in hindsight after having done more, larger doses and becoming familiar with the psychedelic mind-scape was I able to recognize aspects of the experience from that first time.
when it was going on I really didn't notice the LSD effects much at all.
Now I could take 25ugs and notice it.

But usually, taking it all in one shot provides the best and deepest experience.
Staggering doses just gets you ragged out, addle headed and exhausted after about 12 hours and really just becomes a waste of product.

when you spend a summer with a vial in your pocket most of the time, you figure this stuff out....LOL
the longest binge for me was about 4 days but by the third day it was like 7-10 drops to get the effect of one.

Waste of product goes without saying as tolerance is almost immediate and it takes increasingly stronger amounts to get the same net effect as the first dose.

I have taken it in just about any way you can imagine, micro-doses, monster doses and staggered doses.
They all have their merit in one way or another, but hands down the best full on experience comes after a prolonged break from psychedelics and taking a good sized dose in one shot.

you are confirming that by the dosing regime you laid out above, 2, then 3, then 4 because of the diminishing effects of each subsequent dose.
Just imagine where you would have gone had you taken them all at once.

But they must not be very strong if you can take that many in an evening, what about 50-80ugs each?

Back when I was in my heyday with it, the lowest doses I had were a confirmed 100ugs, 150-175ugs also being very common. This was 1976-79.
my first full blown experience was 3 purple micro-dot that were tested at ~170ugs each. I imagine a ten-strip of blotter today would be roughly equivalent to those 3 dots.

One day a friend thought it would be funny to dose me. He said open up and I figured a drop or three and the sucker squirted it in my mouth. I have no idea how many doses it equaled, maybe 15-20, but at the time I was so used to it and tolerance was so high, it's effects were nowhere near what they could have/should have been.

 

Tolerance does not kick in till about 24 hours later.

I very routinely get Bhang bars triple strength and usually consume half at a time, that's 90mgs of THC/2.5mg of CBD, sometimes I consume the entire thing, as well as various other edibles/concoctions, so yeah, I have considerable experience with any and all cannabis products as well as extensive experience with various psychedelics.
I was probably baking my own brownies almost decade before you were born.




when you approach 100mgs of THC, then it does have a decidedly "psychedlic" aspect to the experience, but 15mgs? not even a blip on my psychedelic radar, just a mellow buzz.

 

That is exactly what I'm talking about though. Perhaps I just have a lower tolerance? Anyway try the CBD version.

 

Why?
CBD is very non-psychoactive but is the primary constituent for pain relief and other physiological benefits.
I prefer a good dose of THC tempered by CBD and the other cannabinoids.

But I'll look into trying one next tine if you also try eating half a triple strength bar.
But do check the back because the different flavors have different levels of CBD.
The dark chocolate "Fire" bar has the highest at ~ 9mgs
the "Ice" bar is next with ~ 5mgs (my personal "sweet spot")
the "Cookies & Cream" bar has the least with ~ 3mgs

CBD has the tendency to knock my ass out, and I'm not a big fan of "coach-lock".

You might be interested in this website my doctor gave me to look at. https://www.projectcbd.org/ It seems like you are right about the way CBD and THC are better together than they are apart. The CBD caramel bar takes this into consideration. Incidentally, I don't think I would do so well with half of a triple strength bar. I always cut the regular recommended dose in half just to be on the safe side because I don't like to trip.

I agree with THC being psychedelic. Its only mildly so for me these days but when I first started experimenting with cannabis I has psychedelic experiences that rivaled things I've experienced on LSD only less clear and lucid.

But cannabis causes me paranoia whereas a good lsd trip without cannabis will not make me paranoid and I remain clearheaded.

While both cannabis and lsd can be psychedelic its like comparing apples and oranges...or maybe more like unicorns vs flying cats
