There are all types of music styles.
But, which do you gravitate to the most?

Post your comments, if you like, regarding your favorite groups/singer.
What makes that group/singer stand out for you?

I never understood the term "easy listening". Does that mean that all other types of music are more difficult to listen to?

I like classic rock, psychedelic trace music, rave music, and most of all.... Jamband/ bluegrass!!! I'm surprised that wasn't an option. Anyway, I really like moe. and SCI and keller willaims and yonder!

I also like ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead (of course) Jefferson Airplane, the Doors, and Blue Oyster Cult!

    Yay for music!

I listen to a bit of modern pop, but not a lot. It's kinda hard to avoid though, you know what I mean?

I listen mostly to black metal. I think everyone knows this by now but what the hell. My favourite BM band would be Marduk, but it's really undecided, there's still extremely much to discover and it always fluctuates and depends on the mood I'm in.

Death metal, doom metal and classic rock are slightly increasing in listening frequency.

Edit: so yeah, I voted hevvy medlle.

It depends on my mood, but Psychedelic rock and (alternative) metal are probably my fav's.

The band that more people should listen to is

    definitely
Porcupine Tree, a band that embodies the best parts of Pink Floyd, the Beatles and Tool in one fantastic sounding package..The best case in point would be "Blackest Eyes"from the "In Absentia" album for the more metal influenced material or the title track from the psychedelic masterpiece "The sky moves sideways"

The Jam Band scene is my favorite, right now. I went on a search for new music a few years ago, my wife was complaining that I was suffering from SITS (Stuck in the Sixties), then I discovered the Jam Bands. I started getting out of the house, going to shows, and she accuses me of having a girl friend, geez, a guy just can't win. But, really she knows that I love music, and that that is the only reason I would go out without her, cuz she doesn't appreciate live music the way that I do.
