who watches it? and i'm not talking about just checking up on the weather for like 3 minutes... i'm talking about turning on and not turning it off for a good hour or so. when you know the names of the weathermen and women... when you know which segments come on at which times... when you watch storm stories religiously every night... maybe i'm just weird, but i just have a strange fascination with weather, especially living in a place where the weather rarely changes...
I get pissed off at the weather channel because they've put all those shows on there. So when i actually want to look at the weather it's some show.
They still do the weather during the commercials on those shows, and I happen to find them DAMN interesting. I literally turn on The Weather Channel all day. Its sort of a passion for me.
I actually do this a lot too, I find it comforting. Whenever I need some background noise or activity or something, it's a good channel for that... nothing too interesting to keep me watching for a long time, but intersting enough that it's not like "AAHHH turn it OOOOFFF!" Plus, I do learn some stuff while watching it. And for some reason, the little ticker that is always at the bottom of the screen with the time and date and temperature and all that info is awesome, I think because it's something that is always there and constant.. something solid and dependable. When I can't fall asleep at night and am tired or drowsy it's nice to know all that.
I used to watch it all day. Not anymore. Ever notice that there's always a pregnant woman on there? Weatherwomen must be really fertile or something.
Exactly like me...i love the weather channel i know all their names of the people on there. I watch storm stories and everything.
