i very seldom consume carbonated beverages, but i like this. between this kind of marketing and unionized infrastructure, that's how the u.s. had its real middle class, that its been dying since the 80s as we've been loosing it. i don't know how real anything is, from seeing and hearing it, but this is at least saying, i mean, if you're going to have a capitol economy, this is how it should be.
not so much seducued, but it did get my attention. it was two years from when i saw the first commercial for it, on you tube or vimeo or one of those places. even the commercial had only been released in france at the time. and no, i don't have a thing about france either, its just a place like any other place, but it is a place, like much of europe and some of asia, that has trains. before i ever got a chance to try it. its carbonated whole orange, except for the bitter parts of the peal, or at least it appears to be. and without the solids filtered out, which means they're still in it. yes it did appeal to me to support the artists who had created the commercials. they're insanely strange in a furry sort of way, and yes that absolutely appeals to me. but yes, i realize, the advertisements and the product are unlikely to have been made by the same people. its a good product also, but yes, i agree the commercials are even better then any product ever could be. those first ones i ever saw for it. which must have been five years ago. since the product, as far as i know, has only been on u.s. shelves for about three. tj's, of course, is the only place i've ever seen it. and i was one of those people who told the tj's website it was a product i'd like to see them carry.
I love orangina! It tastes a hell of a lot better than most pops. Plus it has super neat packaging. My mom used to get them from this Italian deli when I was younger, but now they seem to be everywhere! I also rally like the San pellegrino sodas.
Theres seriously a soda called orangina? Orangina Orangina, Its like mouthwash For your ......something that rhymes with orangina
Sorry but I think it begins with a V and often involves things like tampons, douches, and nosey OB/GYNs Hotwater
i don't know, i never heard of the stuff before this thread. i'm just going on how it's spelled. the orangina marketing people probably pronounce it in some weird way like that; it seems to be the thing to do these days. just in the car business, in the last year jaguar has become jag you uh, and mazda has become master.
I was really sure that was the only way to pronounce it. I heard it said that way in a Broadway play in NYC when I was there on a high school trip, then later in my 20s, I moved to Maine and they say it the same way here (it's almost as big as Moxie up here for some reason). I hate it because I hate pulp in my OJ. It literally gags me. Can't do it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJXvjGJmOyg seeing this on you tube, made me think about this tread. for those who like mixed drinks, on a completely other paw, unless there's something else already by the same name: an orange bitch: in a chilled 4-oz minitumbler, with a salted rim, one finger of of vodka, fill to remaining capacity with orangina. no orangatangs were raped, just oranges. carbonated whole orange. to be sipped, not chugged, but not so slow as to let all the ice melt if you put ice in it.
i had no idea it had been in the states more then four or five years. i love the pulp. best part of the orange to me. but of course if you grew up around people who made a big deal about natural and organic, well anything people make a big deal about, i can understand having a problem with. (i have a bigger problem with all the things people don't care about and what that does to the countryside and everything else we all have to live with. but when people make a big deal about something itself, while missing, often deliberately the whole point of it, then yes, i can see people having a problem with that too). don't think i've ever seen moxie. lived on the left coast most my life. all except the first three years after i was born.
I only drink it with spirits in, the only fizzy drink i drink without booze in is appletiser, that shit is lush.
