So I brought a BBQ chicken today from one of our big supermarket chains (Coles for those that care)

Came in a trendy little bag, it was marked as an RSPCA approved dead chicken, and next to that it had the words

    'For Better Animal Welfare'

I was like, its dead and BBQed, its welfare doesnt get Non-Better than that

    Pfff, marketing people

    It was delicious though

Sounds like when chickens are called free range but really all that means is the giant chicken house packed with thousands of chickens has a tiny open door on one end that most of the chickens are too dumb to use.

Being a freerangertarian I only buy Lilydale free range chicken from my local IGA or Foodworks supermarkets.
