Ah Yessss The Mega-Church preacher with his pompadour hairstyle, the adoring wife and the sexy church secretary.

the money missing from the collection box and the bills from mysterious sources,

These threadbare comidies have been played out time and time again.

Yet why the equivication? Comparing American evangelicals to the fundamental death cults from the Middle East?

There must have been a very, very narrow timeframe of this optimal level of teaching critical thought because I'm pretty certain at least up until the mid 19th century, many people were not given an equal opportunity of education and a fair amount of them even regarded as incapable of such things and pretty much considered subhuman.

As people are a prism, they obsorb either positive or negative energy, then it is reflected through that person.

why do you make the assumption that one has to relinquish any power or control?
actually the exact opposite is the case........read the Book of Acts.
didn't Jesus say he came so that we may have life and that more abundantly?

A very narrow time in terms of the entire existence of humans.

In the 40's, 50's and 60's the U.S. was the leader in education.

Even after reading the OP post it baffles be how people can believe in evolution and still some how need to believe in a superbeing like God. Believing that God created everything does not explain but just opens a million new questions about how God came about etc...

The Theory of Evolution only accounts for life on Earth, there is an entire rest of the cosmos out there unaccounted for. Cosmologists and astrophysicists mention "Cosmic Evolution" but that is probably a different discussion.

and exactly why/how is that a problem?
as if we are ever going to know everything anyway.........LOL

I pray to God that there will always be more questions, otherwise it is all just boring.

The world as we know it is a product of your imagination.

How can you imagine a world without imagination?

I suppose you could imagine a world without cars, too. But you dont need a car to do that.

On second thought, yes you do.
