Hmm, yes....Must admit I do agree with h.a.t.s on the general theme of not wanting to meet up with a crowd of people just because they are barefoot, especially if that is all you have in common. If I'm honest I once went to London with the intention of joining such a meet-up that was mentioned on the net. I lurked around to see what if any people would turn up. It did look kind of weird and a bit contrived to see a group of men (yes they were all male) barefoot in a London tube station, and I quickly left. On another occasion I did meet up with a (mixed) group for a country walk. It was an ok afternoon out, but still felt a bit, well, silly tbh. Incidentally one couple did bring their (shod) child, and it was not a problem. Overall though I guess I just like to be bf in my daily life because it's part of me, not looking like I'm part of some weird sect or something.

Don't have to be a convicted sex offender or child molester, but a good risk of becoming one with one or more minors at a meetup?

Let's just put it this way, regarding minors at a barefoot meetup: Have they all been vetted as barefooters-only vs. those that also have a foot fetish? It's not like barefoot in public, just going out in public or even if someone poses barefoot for a photographer while out and about in bare feet, fetish or no festish. It's specifically a meetup, and I don't think minors should specifically be around any kind of foot fetishists, but then again that's my own opinion.

Don't need meetups to go barefoot in establishments. People have been doing it for decades before SBL and Barefoot is Legal, including grocery stores, school and colleges, walking on sidewalks, crossing hot parking lots, and some even removing their shoes after the public marching section of a parade route and finishing the rest in bare feet across rougher gravel asphalt before smoother darker and extra hot blacktop became more frequent. That was long before DSS that became SBL that predated Barefoot is legal. In fact, the founder of DSS also had a foot fetish.

    And that's that.
