No one would be in range to see my router....

 

I think I named my router "CIA Surveillance Van".

Hubby says he saw one come up that says "CIA Helicopter".

 

In addition to the usual encryption I use the MAC filtering feature on my router so that only specific MAC addresses can access the wireless portion.
I also set a specific range/pool of IP #'s that the DHCP can hand out, then reserve those IP's for my devices and use up the allotted pool and then the DHCP can not hand out any new ones and that way I also know what IP corresponds to what device on my network.
so anybody trying to connect via wireless would need to spoof one of the allowed MAC addresses, too much hassle for most people.
If they can somehow connect physically to my network, they won't be able to get an IP address.

A girls parents in my sister's class told her Santa is too busy to visit her. That's heartbreaking I don't think it's a money issue it is just farm country and from what my sister says the community is not big on childhood things. It's hard to get kids to even come to school because the parents think the farm is more important.

 

Hmm. I was taken out of school pretty early, like primary or elementary school and I got to work on our farm but also travel to countries abroad. I wasn't taken from school for this reason, it was much political with my parents but I think I turned out better for it. Family values are often better than any value learned in school IMO. I was a straight shooter before I started public high school, and now I smoke drugs.

How long do you keep greeting cards for I don't want to look like I don't care but also are you supposed to have these things sitting around for weeks after? I will get a Christmas card, read it, and throw it away and my girlfriend says you cant do that. I'm not throwing the person away I read their message don't take it personal.

 

i trimmed my beard about an hour ago...just the upper and under parts though,...decided to try out the jihadist look for a bit

 

People have weird hair issues... I never trim my beard.

Up until about 7 or 8 years ago I kept my hair long. Middle of the back was "short" for me as I tended to prefer it to the waist. Then something changed...I saw some old women (my age or there abouts ) with long ass hair and I thought that long hair makes them look older! :yikes: and good grief I didn't want that! :-O

So, I won't let it get longer than the middle of the back, which is where it is now.

I want it cut now.

So it'll probably be another month with all the stuff happening here at the moment. smh

One time a friend of mine told me "I'm going to give you layers that don't seem like layers". My first thought was wth, and then I went meh...go on...but you KNOW how I am about my hair...she says "oh yeah, I know. " Well, kiss my ass if she didn't cut all my hair off and give me the WORST hair cut of my entire life. For months and months I would have to get it trimmed at the bottom just so it would grow out into something that looked better than rats chewing off the ends after it was set on fire. I literally sobbed for quite some time every day when I'd go to fix my hair. :bigcry: That seems silly, I know; but that is the way it was.

I didn't speak to her for almost 3 years.
