I think those Amazonian Indians have been drinking too much of their Ayahuasca brew whose active ingredient is DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) [IMG]

    @ Hotwater,

Yes, they have some good stuff down there.

But they are among many around the world with cool stories to tell about the world below.

Ahkima (a Hopi artist in Arizona) has a cool story to tell also... "Hopi Emergence Story".

His recount of this legend is a little hard to get through, but I thought it was worth the watch. :)

large subterainian communities have been built from time to time since ancient times. they occupy an even smaller proportion of below ground then above ground cities do the surface, but they are wonderfully fascinating places.
capadoccia in turkey is a prime example, as are super bunkers like "chyane mountain". other examples, both ancient and modern exist. there are relatively few of them. some are amazingly complex complexes that go on for miles. i love the idea. two reasons more of them aren't built, tunneling on an extensive scale gets expensive fast, and humans seem to like to be able to look out on sun lit landscapes. but there are real benefits to subterranean construction too. one is very little need for heating and cooling.

large underground cities are cool and all, and certainly do exist and so on,
point is though, that's kind of a long way from being a "hallow earth".

I know Hitler and the Nazi's believed these "hollow Earth" ideas. I think they thought Thule was there or something.

    Correct

The German sees himself as the innocent victim of world hatred and envy
Conspired against, set upon by inferior peoples of inferior nations.
He cannot admit to error, much less wrongdoing, not the German.
Men of truth everywhere have come to know for whom the bell tolls
    But not the German.

No, he still follows his warrior Gods, marching to Wagnerian strains,
His eyes still fixed upon the fiery sword of Siegfried.
And in those subterranean meeting places the German dream world comes to alive,
and he takes his place in shining armor Beneath the banners of the Teutonic Knights

    – The Stranger (1946)

Maybe the Hollow Earth theory is/was just a metaphor for Hallow meaning sacred.

In other words the earth is Hallowed Ground; sacred and should be treated as such.

Cymatics on a grand scale. Predictably done during a Volcanic eruption.

The Volcano erupts: lava spills out everywhere. Given matter is all vibration, the vibrational forces were resonating through the Earth at a particular frequency; in doing so, we can view the frequency the earth was resonating at that time during the eruption; to which we are left with the 'eye' we see. This would be caused as the lava cools and sets, giving us a perfectly preserved earth vibration symbol. She speaks to us in which we all speak: vibration.

germany though, in the 70s, before reunification, had gotten well and thoroughly over that. mostly because that torch of darkness, in the form of mccarthism, passed to the u.s. in the 1950s. (where it became the birchers who became people for the new american century, who became today's tea party)
