I have a bad feeling about this election. Both Sanders, and Trump are populists, but I think Trump has more supporters. Therefore, I actually think Trump will be the next president, unfortunately.

Bernie "Larry David " Sanders takes a big lead in Iowa - - love the voice and exaggerated arm movements. . .but the "Medicaid for all" and other ideas that probably aren't all bad would cost trillions and if the GOP stays on top in the House or Sentate. . .They would lock the doors to keep the socialist out- - -
Hillary - -no doubt she is very qualified ,, she been there forever in many jobs. . from Bills mistress to secretary of state - but she does have big time trust issues,,,,,,

Now the repubs?? Trump makes me embarrassed to say Im from NY- - Chris "pass me another slice" Christie makes me ashamed to say I'm from Jersey
and--The rest of that crew looks like they should all get out of the same little car at the next debate beeping their noses- - - clowns fur sure
Amerika maybe should put an add on Craigslist- -

Higher taxes would take the place of health insurance premiums. A dollar is a dollar.

Yes, it's the same pie, you're just slicing it differently ... in the end the money is the same. What we might want to know is which way of slicing is more efficient ... the fewer middle men, and the less levels of accounting the more efficient the money can be spent.

I pay about $2400 a year now in premiums plus 80 % of any sick visits until I reach my deductible which I think is $2500. Preventative is covered. I don't go to the doctor when I'm sick unless I have a very high fever or I think I could possibly die. So basically I pay $2400 a year for yearly check ups for my child and I, plus my birth control.

A tax increase for a Medicare for all system would still be a huge savings for me personally.

Seems like there's the potential to improve efficiency while also improving potentially equality at the same time, which is usually difficult to do as they are in some ways, contradictory paradigms ...

Don't overlook the important point that private insurance companies exist to make as much profit for their investors as possible. That fact has to be weighed against government inefficiencies.

Also, I like the inherent fairness of having one system for everybody, where luck and location have nothing to do with anything.

Someone COULD say something crass--like--I bet he wants some of that!! But I certainly would NEVER utter such.
I'm not sure she hurts a campaign--there are enough mor---folks that think she's wonderful.

Frankly, I'd rather be tied in a chair and listen to someone scrrrraaaaatch their nails across a blackboard than listen to her screeeech her way through what she considers an idea.

I sincerely hope she does the same thing for Trump as she did for McCain.

According to what is being said on tv right now, she is going around campaigning with him...so, that is exactly what it looks like - that she will be his running mate.

yes, its a scary thought...but she basically did McCain in, so hopefully she can pull that off again.

Pareto Optimality .. at that point you can't make anyone better off without making some people worse off.

I agree and it makes me want to vomit. I still have high hopes that she will run her stupid non-filtered mouth to the point that it will affect (HARM!) Trump's chances
