Hi Irmi

 

Hello and good you called me Irmi again. For a few days it was Irminsul, and that just sounds like I'm in trouble.

 

This was my favorite shot of a normal lion. I took them with my big canon 7D. I'm not an expert or anything and my eyes are iffy when I take photos but I think they end up quite well.

I'll upload more soon, they're just enormous size so I need to adjust the quality and size before even attempting to upload.

This guy we both jumped up and down and waved hands at so he would look directly at us. A perk of getting up in the morning and having no public in the zoo. Overall a good experience, but not good enough for the $$ I laid into it. Especially considering and it was probably my fault for not realizing it but the whole thing was a holiday promo for children. >.>

 

Mama had an excellent doctor's appointment yesterday..the orthopedist came in SMILING (seriously!) said she was ready for physical therapy - twice a week. (helpmesweetjesus) I sincerely hope that dealing these physical therapists will be significantly easier than getting in touch with them and setting up an appointment for Friday...next week it'll start 2 times per week.

Today bff took Mama and me shoe shopping. Really I love her like a sister, and we have been best friends for over 50 yrs...and she drives me absolutely, completely insane in about oh, at least 50 (or more) different ways. Her late husband used to say he thought it was a rule that when you grow up living as close (in vicinity) as us AND you remain friends...it was a RULE you had to stay friends, period. I kind of agree with him There is not another single person in this entire world that is LIKE HER that I could stand being around for more than 1 minute. So, as I've told her, she is "special" in more ways than one.

Yay for character development in EVERY fucking aspect of your life.

Mama got some shoes she is happy with, so that makes me happy, and I couldn't be more serious.

I bought 3 pairs of shoes and 1 (ONE!) of them I actually like. Why...you ask did I buy them if I didn't LOVE to LIKE them...well, its because I don't even need the fingers on one hand to tell you how often I get to leave the house and shop for anything. Besides the $100 VISA gift card brother sent me for my birthday was burning a hole in my pocket and I needed shoes. The ones I got fit and are not ugly. Only 1 pair is what I really wanted. The others were substitutes for what I'd hoped to find but was too ill (not physically) to want to do any more shopping.

Somewhere along the line and the years I've grown to despise shopping.

We are back now, Lynn. we had two nights and it was fun. Few funny things happened like we were intimiate in our room and we obviously got someone's attention because the fish tank could be seen through on the other side. Lol. Whoops. Well now that I've just had an audience I'm set for porn now, I'll get paid for that shit.

So far I haven't seen any videos of lesbians in the aquarium on the internet so hopefully no videos or pictures were taken. But when went to have a look what you could see OMG. Everything. It looked straight into our room and bed.

But downsides were being in the zoo, you were restricted to the zoo. You couldn't leave at night or anything and come back, not that Berlin interests me in the least but yeah, families and children... got over them quickly. Few childless couples kept us happy. Short haired lesbian couple, wouldn't talk to us. but yeah, good weekend. Best part was having the zoo to ourselves morning and night so we could wander around when they're actually all active.

We bought a expensive stuffed lion for my stuffed animal collection. I have not names him yet. Now that we have two I wanted to nickname the ghost and the darkness but those names don't sound cool when translated to African. =[

Nah, I've been saying Irminsul to get your attention. It's longer than Irmi so I thought it would show up better.

 

Reading all of that reminds me of when I call the son by his first, middle and last name, adding III (the 3rd)...he KNOWS he needs to listen to what is coming, he IS in trouble and/or I'm shocked beyond belief at something he has said or done.

 

My son is a 3rd, also.
