Where are all the "Occupy Wall Street" people? Why is nobody talking about the fact that Bernie is saying all the things they were saying? Where are all the old anti-war activist protesters from the sixties? Why aren't more old hippies saying this is the peace-loving President that they've always wanted? With all the momentum Bernie has now, I see an opportunity for a lot of people and ideas to come together. We need to seize the moment.

Bernie is meeting with Al Sharpton tomorrow. If he can get that endorsement before South Carolina, it could be a key turning point. [IMG]

Now its a matter of momentum. I'm volunteering at a call center here in Phoenix as soon as my schedule clears up. (Probably next week.)

I hope people in Nevada and South Carolina know their jobs...We got 9-10 days to at least make it closer than the mid/late January polls indicate, and then over compensate once/if we've cleared Clinton. Even a close finish in both of those states would mean a TON. This shit can happen. Momentum carries with it the inevitable demands of our culture. *Insert Winston Churchill quote*

It's time for black Democrats to stop assuming that Hillary is the only candidate they need to know about.

I found it refreshing that BS....lol....BS.....Bernard Sanders.....did not end his speech with God Bles you and America......I get so tired of hearing that from politicians.....first of all....how dare you speak for any imagined god.....as phrasing should be...may god bless you, and secondly, it assumes too much...in thinking everyone believes in imaginary beings...."May the force be with you all"....sounds more appropriate.....giving credit to Star wars....and just a thank you is nice.

I feel like it isn't hard at all for Bernie to win over black voters; it is more a matter of reaching them.

I'm going to volunteer this weekend. It is getting down to crunch time in SC.

Was watching the MSNBC yesterday and they had a gentleman talking about whether or not it (winning the minority vote) could happen for Bernie. The panel seemed split on the subject, which is much better than the 'no contest' in favor of Hilary they would have claimed last year.

If I had said that Barak Obama could win in 2008, you might have replied "Name the last black candidate to become president".

Everything is unprecedented until it happens for the first time.

No worries, I'll just celebrate enough for two people. ;) I'm living in the moment.

He's a nonreligious Jew. I'm sure a lot of other big name politicians are nonreligious (IMO, the Clintons and Obama, and DEFINITELY Trump) but they feel pressured to lie about it.

That could turn out to be one of the most significant and worthwhile things you ever get to do in your lifetime.

Most black voters in SC who don't plan to vote for Bernie (according to polling data) don't seem to have any specific concerns about him, they just know Hillary better. They're going to determine the outcome in SC. They would like his voting record in the Senate and House if they knew what it was. They should also know that earlier in life, he participated in events organized by Martin Luther King, and once led a boycott of segregated university housing in Chicago.

Even if Bernie loses SC, it's important to keep it close and not lose in a landslide, so as not to destroy all his New Hampshire momentum the week before Super Tuesday (Mar. 1). That's Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Virginia.

Bernie has worked for civil rights for a long time. He has worked for a union, he was arrested during the first sit-in in Chicago while demonstrating for the desegregation of public schools, he marched in Washington D.C. for civil rights, led the Congress of Racial Equality, he has a 93% rating by the ACLU on Civil Rights issues, and a 97% rating by the NAACP, etc.

So if that's what you call pimping.....

And yet...HRC still walks away with more NH delegates even though she lost in a landslide defeat. I hope this whole thing blows up in the DNCs face. Their scam is beginning to come to light and people are not happy about it.
