Yeah, of course. You're going to look fuller and less defined. Not just on your body, but even your face as well.
Hmm lets see. Well I'm a stress head. I've been eating breads and Turkish pizza. cravings for Lemon fizz drinks and no sugar cola Pepsi max. I guess that bloats me with the fizz. Been on a binge for sugar lollies too. Fuuuuuck. You're fat, Irm.
Why not drink vodka water? A vodka water with a splash of lemon or lime is very low in calories, and won't bloat you as much as drinking several beers will. Vodka water is my go to drink when I want to drink alcohol, but am really conscious of my waistline. If I am in a not give a fuck mode, then it is sugary drinks all the way for me. I also agree with what Rat said about the protein.......
It depends how much you're eating now. Excess protein will just be converted to carbohydrate anyway. Generally speaking, .08-1.0 grams per lb, or 2 grams per kg of lean body mass is sufficient for most people. You don't want much more or less than that.
60 minutes of cardio today. Also booked a few "one-off" sessions with the personal trainer. I am still really nervous to do dead lifts and barbell squats on my own, as I am concerned about hurting myself due to bad form, so I've asked him to help me with that.
Tonight I did 25 minutes of HIIT, followed by heavy sets of bench press (6x4), rows (4x7), shoulder press (5x5), skullcrushers (2x10) and curls (3x10). I followed the session with 100 pushups. I did this all after over 18 hours of intermittent fasting.
So I incidentally inherited a massive jar of whey protein. I moved into a new apartment with a different roommate a couple months ago, and he had this jar of protein sitting in the closet untouched. My roommate is a skinny stick figure of a guy and he never goes to the gym and lifts weights. So I finally ask him about it and he says it was left behind by his old roommate I replaced, and I could have it. This is cool because the jar is more than half full. I've never used whey protein before. Do you all recommend it daily? Or just after workouts?
Haven't seen this thread. Standard 45 minute jog accompanied by sprint bursts and jumping fake hurdles to really get the sweat out. Since I quit cigarettes a couple years ago I've been amazed at how long I can jog for. Push ups, and situps till the respective muscles beg for mercy. I do this once after I wake up, and then repeat the same exact workout in the evening when I get home. Except I sometimes will jog for a little longer. Its a give or take thing. The big trick is I HAVE to physically feel exhausted. That's what got me in shape, that's what will keep me in shape. Hopefully..
I just want to lose some weight and tone up really. I found that you can't serve it too watery or else it'll taste horrible.
Are you just shaking it up in a bottle or using a blender?? If you're using a blender you can throw a tablespoon or two of penut butter in and it'll make it taste better.
