They seem to be lacking good flight sims and combat flight sims on consoles etc. I used to play the Microsoft Combat Sims on my computer a long time ago when I had a joystick etc.
Yeps, best flight games are on PC... I would probably enjoy roaming the airspace of Britain or Germany in a good WW2 combat flight sim but yeah... no game PC.
I just beat Trine 3. I was a bit disappointed because the game seemed to end in the middle and the puzzles were not very changeling compared to the earlier games. But I got the impression the developer ran out of time and money. And this was one was in 3D and not side scroller so I am sure it cost a lot more to make. But overall I would recommend them specially since I bet you could get all 3 games cheap on Steam since they have been out a while.
I've only leveled up a couple of times in FO4 but I am enjoying the game a little more even though my dog friend is really dumb. It's just so like the AI from even PlayStation 1 games. That is your team member has no general knowledge about anything. I've already determined my dog can't set off traps? For he just walks through the laser trip wires like he can't see them. And while I'm being stealthy and hiding, he's just out in plain site being a jerk. So I tell him to stay, but I often forget to find him and get him to follow lol. Does he come back? If I don't get him? I just cleared a satellite dish building. I have no idea where I am or where I'm meant to be going, but in just wandering around atm. And I don't want cons worth to be my dogs replacement that thing is about a switched on as C3PO.
^ i hate fallout companions. they are such a huge liability most of the time. the worst was in fallout 3, when if they committed suicide they were actually dead permanently. at least in new vegas they revived after a while. anyway, i would always recruit a companion and a pet just because, but then i would almost always leave them at home when i was out adventuring. i can't speak for 4 since i haven't played it yet, but in the previous games i think if your companion got lost they would just show up either at your home or wherever you originally recruited them from.
Tom Clancy games seem to have better team AI coordination. I like the dog in this game, but he's always whimpering and acting like he's afraid. I gather he's had a rough life, but still. > . >
I'm not sure if the dog gets over encumbered, but I just unloaded a lot of weapons upon him. And I found a nuke too. and a fat man which apparently fired the mini nuke. Go me! We gone have some fun.
Are you playing one? Or what was the latest you played? Most Tom Clancy games I took notice of weren't really my thing but there's 2 upcoming ones that seem quite fun! New Ghost recon (called Wildlands) is the first open world game (set in Bolivia) in that series and seems like it could be awesome. Release date currently unclear Other one will be released next month and is called The division. I will check out the reviews because if it works as good as I hope I'm looking forward to this one too. It seems to focus on coöp multiplay just like the new Ghost recon btw. About the AI: I think it is harder to have an in game companion like a pet behave 100% realistic all the time than an AI enemy or team member that is programmed really well to defend, attack and take cover realistically
Oh man, I loved the original rainbow 6 on PS1, but I could never get past this part where it was in an apartment. Umm I've played a few other rainbow sixes and splinter cells. One thing I don't enjoy about Clancy games are the stealthiness. I love sniping in games, so that's always fun, but they seem to be like, don't make a sound etc. and at time I just wanna unload a clip into some terrorists. But no, it's been years since I played a Clancy game. I think the last one was the splinter cell double agenT, and I didn't get very far.
speaking of flight sims...flying in battlefront is so awesome untile you hear "bob fett has entered the battle" and you hear "PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW" and youre dead
I remember when those came out! Some amazing and trippy tech there. I've always wanted a Game Boy Player for the Gamecube, or whatever they're called. Never can find one with a disc under like $200 though. There were some pretty good titles on GBA. I'm playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary right now. I'm surprised my computer can even run it on ultra ultra low settings. Playing TR: Legend too. I think Anniversary is the one with better graphics? My 'puter's a pooter. I seem to always get stuck playing the previous generation games. Like Fallout 4 came out... thinking of playing Fallout 3 because it's my only option lol. Battlefront got released, I'm trying to play Battlefront 1 or 2 instead on Xbox! Rise of the Tomb Raider came out... (refer to above) I'm in the process of restoring a PS2 and a Gamecube I've had sitting around for a few years w no controller. Retro junkie!! 8-bit for life!
this is boba fet killing people ...sound effects are fucking movie perfect too... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL0NXWQP11A
It looks cool, but I don't know if I'd play it. I played a Star Wars game once, running around in 3rd person with a saber... Went back to Day of Defeat pretty quickly. Huge LAN tournaments with my friends.. man I miss those days.
Yeah hehe. There was a place we used to go to called The Barrack and it was a LAN place, we always played Call of Duty or Day of Defeat. I was always a nazi. I remember in CoD2, no shit, but I refuse to play as anybody but Germans. Anyway I was on a clan team and we were in France somewhere. We started off as axis. Anyway half way we changed teams and I remember vividly, I lined up behind everyone in the group, with a Tommy Gun, they were all allies colors and once the game started I mowed the fuckers down instantly. I got yelled at and went Oooops, yeah no joke, I haven't shot a German soldier in this game, ever! and it'd been years.
I never played 1942. I had Vietnam which I loved the soundtrack. Then I had BF2. And BF3. One thing I hated about Bf games over CoD games was BF damage model terrible. I like it when you put a .308 round into someone on CoD and that motherfucker stays down! BF at times requires several head shots and a full fucking clip. -.-
I began playing Zelda 2, i finished the 2nd palace then shortly after the "B" button on my controller broke. I don't have a spare controller with me
