Was annoyed with the playing the same levels over and over until you memorize what the enemies do in "the evil within".
So I went out looking for a new game. Saw watch dogs cheap so pick it up and play it....first mission is a memorize what the enemies do...uhhg...gonna get dragon age next. I suspect it will be a d&do version of mass effect. Maybe that will hold my interest because those other two games make me want to play for 15 minutes and then I am ready for something else.

Oh yeah 70% of all trophies is quite an achievement (for me) :-D I don't bother getting them all most of the time. I took a long break from this game too, but mainly because I was in the mood for others and don't like to play several good storylines at the same time...

I recently played a demo of the new Hitman, they were only training missions and I expect more of the real hitman missions but I think it could be great (you obviously have to like to observe and figure things out, otherwise this game is not for you). Borrowed Hitman Absolution a few months ago which was also entertaining.
Is Blood Money on the ps2? Then I recall playing it at my friends place years ago :-D Roaming the russian streets and gain access to a building... I think also the russian subway. Or was this another Hitman game? :p

Dragon age seems a great game but I am just a nitpicker with some things about the graphics/toryline/options and this is why I am not really intrigued by these series. Not everything with magic and dragons is fun, it has to be done in a way that I like it :p

I still have Watch dogs to look forward too as well. It's my only (full) game I can start up without the disc... Although this makes me start up games like PES more often it doesn't work the same way with Watch dogs so far :p Well, except to play chess near the waterside sometimes :D

:D Sounds like that day was something else! Pretty funny though. "Why do these games keep wanting me to memorize things?!?!" I haven't even watched any trailers of The Evil Within. I more or less figured it would be one of those 'movie games' since a movie of the same title came out around the same time. Sounds like it might be interesting to me since I love the Hitman franchise though.

    'Agent 47 was killed.'

    Next time, Gadget. NEXT TIME!!!

I believe Blood Money came out on a few different systems. PS2, PS3, Xbox, X360... probably not Gamecube. I am starting to notice some differences from the 360 version, which is the console I played it on originally. But they did a very good job imo, downscaling the game to the original Xbox. Very playable, then again I'm a pretty hardcore fan of the game as well. I think they did do away with the weapon and gadget upgrade system. I go to pick a lock and it only takes like 2 seconds, where in the 360 version it took around 10 seconds or so until you upgrades to the lockpick gun.

Personally, I enjoyed Blood Money more than Absolution. Though the storyline is more tightly knit together in Absolution. Not sure about the Russian subway level. You may be thinking of Hitman 2? Where you had to snipe 2 people in a park from a clocktower? Or it may be a level from Absolution, as I have yet to finish that one.

These levels on professional difficulty are beginning to drive me mad :D 'Okay. Got the first disguise, now I can roam through the grounds freely and plan my next move... There's the next disguise I need. Sedate guard. He makes too much noise when he's injected with sedative and alarms nearby guards. CRAP!

    Agent 47 is killed. (Snaaaaaaaaaaake?!)

Found a guard in the other room who I can snatch 2nd disguise from... I can just put sedative in his coffee and call it a day!! Crap! He's onto me and sees through my disguise! Instead of putting his coffee back down like he's supposed to, now he just walks around with it due to some glitch after noticing the black bars tattooed on the back of my head and guards his coffee like his life depends on it. Put the damn cup down!! Screw this, I'm just blasting everyone. Stupid glitch. I'm going to sleep, fk this.'

    hehe :D Shotgun Wedding.

Damn it, I replied to this last night, but my browser must have logged me out and it didn't register.

I actually heard of Stardew Valley long before it was released. It seems to be one of those 'spiritual successor' games, which isn't a bad thing at all imo. I quite like that developers are taking games from their childhood and/or elsewhere and attempting to create something potentially equally as great. Sometimes it doesn't turn out too well and ends up as just another re-make, but sometimes they really do what they planned out to do justice and it's something incredible.

Speaking of spiritual successors, I'm eagerly anticipating Torment: Tides of Numenara. Supposedly the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, which is highly prized as one of the greatest RPG's ever made (for PC anyways). [I worded that so much better last night] If you enjoy a great, dark and abstracted storyline and don't mind doing a lot of reading in a game, I HIGHLY suggest anyone to play this game. It's along the same lines as the Baldur's Gate series, though I had no trouble playing the living crap out of PS:T... up until it froze at a corrupted map file on my CD. For some reason, Baldur's Gate just couldn't hold my interest for the length of the game.

I also realized you were translating and Sun Dog was the one originally talking about Animal Crossing lol.

I must have gotten confused while looking up Gamecube games and thought it was released for the PS2. Shepherd's Crossing is PS2. Might pick both up eventually.

Watch dogs got a bit better after I got passed the first part. It's a bit of a gta clone but there is more to do when riding around such as hacking the traffic lights and gates. Verdict is still out. But it seems like they made it more complicated than they needed to. The hacking is easy but it is involved with everything you do and I don't know when it is needed or when it's a help or when it's a waste of time.

Do you even look at your missions list? If you keep doing them eventually you will beat it.

I've just been aimlessly walking around hoping to run into the right person.

Nah, I kid. It's just like the elder scroll games, i can play for years and never get close to finishing them. The beauty of these games is just wandering around though. I love exploring caves and shit.

I liked the opening at the stadium, but stopped with missions already soon after that. I watched and played a bit at a friends place before I got the game and there I thought the hacking in some other mission gameplay was really cool. I guess you first have to get used to how it works and then you will get really into it.

The driving stuff is not the greatest imo. It's clear it's not such a central thing of the game as in GTA (although when you compare driving in gta to a good racing game it's not that realistic either... :p But at least it works and feels great).

Did you approach a dealer already? If you like flowers I recommend the psychedelic trip! :D

It was definitely not Absolution because I only played that for the first time last year. So probably 2 then yes, because I'm certain it was on the PS2.

Just chased the sisters crank phone caller. Was running right behind him. Pull out gun and go to shoot and then I accidentally hit the "cover" button and he got away because of it. I threw the controller in anger and that's why I am here and not playing the game right now.

That's how i often take a break from gaming too :p

Different game, different controls.... I was already wary of all this hacking while being on the run before i got the game... :-D (imagined it took timing and a different set of controls. I'm not the most flexible with switching between games with completely different controls) But like I said, once you're used to how this game works it gets better!

I still have Dishonered on the 360 left to finish as well. Is it worth to buy the definitive edition if you already had it on 360? I would not spend €30 on a game soon again if I already spend that money on it... :p

I stopped playing Morrowind again (...again) a few weeks ago. I feel like I'm getting closer to completing the storyline though!! I don't think I ever got very far because the whole journal system is so COMPLETELY FUCKED in that game

I'm trying my damnest to ONLY stick to the main plot. Desperately avoiding any side-quests from starting or anyone NPCs in the game even giving HINTS to any type of side-quests. Which is very tedious! I'll be playing for a while and decide to start talking to random strangers then BAM, someone mentions a side quest and my journal has an inconsistency! Stop, get angry, load last saved game. Forgot to save, now I'm so far behind. Lost like 3 points in the main storyline.

Once you start getting side quests, your journal entries concerning the main quest are ridiculously hard to find among all the other garbage. At the same time, you miss out on potentially acquiring very useful and high powered weapons that could help you out. I just take advantage of the persuasion and money glitch so I can buy and enchant items, gain skills and whatnot. It's so STUPID!!! Screw Morrowind. :D

Been playing Doom (classic) and Duke3D lately. Just shoot everything that moves. Simple enough. Oh! And avoid shooting strippers while playing Duke :p
