I'm vegetarian, so no fish oil for me. Any other recommendations? What about fatigue, PR? I've been suffering greatly from fatigue. I know you know a lot about this stuff, so I trust your advice.
- Deva Vegan Multivitamin & Mineral - Now Vitamin D 1,000 IU High Potency (Gonna change to higher dose) - EuroPharma Terry Naturally Tyroid Care. - MRM MSM Crystals. - Gaia Respiratory Defense. - Nature's Answer Charcoal. - Now Probiotic-10. - Terry Naturally Curamin Extra Strength. - Now Energy. - Now Liquid Chlorophyll. Most likely the brand or amount of each vitamin will change, but I think these are the vitamins I will stick with; multivitamin, vitamin D, idoline, MSM, some sort of disgestive vitamin (characoal), probiotics, some sort of respiratory vitamin, curamin/turmeric, some sort of vitamin for energy, liquid chlorophyll. With about 64 ounces of water.
I take vitamin d sometimes in he winter and I take iron if I have donated blood and feel like I need it. I just drink them with whatever is handy. I remember when I was younger though and had pills to take my mom would put them in applesauce lol.
I do pretty well eating a balanced pescatarian diet. In the winter I take Vitamin D and recently I started taking turmeric every day after reading about all the benefits.
I decided to drop everything and just take 5000IU vitamin D, and MSM, becuase it's the only way I can drink my water, with MSM powder in it. My blood work shows a low vitamin D once again, and I still have been feeling very tired. Like unfunctionably tired. So, that is why I am trying this. I will then reintroduce everything one by one, and see the effects it gives me. But, right now I want to see what vitamin D alone does for my system.
I brought some multivitamins last year,to just see if I felt any differently. My energy levels seemed low at the time.Tbh,I honestly didnt feel any different.I had to take a hard look at my lifestyle choices.I was aware that my physical activity had lapsed somewhat (I used to go hiking alot, practice yoga daily and ride my pushbike everywhere)and although I ate a very healthy diet,I felt sluggish.Too much lounging around and driving the car!So.....I finished the multi's and decided to get more active! It worked! So basically Ive gone back to my fitness regime of walking, yoga and cycling and feel much better for it. My diet consists of mainly a wide variety of fruit and veg, lean meat, fish, some dairy (and soy milk),wholemeal or granary style breads, cereals (natural type ones like porridge)etc.I do eat a very small amount of "junk"food very occasionally,as a treat.
Ive started putting tumeric in my coffee with coconut oil, black pepper and cinammon (fat and black pepper both help the body absorb tumeric better) Ive had digestive issues for like 3 years, i wont go into detail but drinking tumeric coffee a couple of times a week has basically made the problem go away completely. That wasnt really why I started taking tumeric, it was more for mental health reasons - i read somewhere that it is just as effective as prozac in treating depression. I'm not depressed but there are other issues i'm dealing with. I havent really noticed a significant difference with this yet
