I think Snoop Dogg makes a good point; and if there was going to be a remake of Roots why not show it in February during black history month, Why show it on Memorial day? Angry Snoop Dogg condemns Roots remake because he is fed up with slavery movies and wants instead a series 'about the success that black folks are having' 'I'm sick of this shit. How the fuck are they going to put Roots on, on Memorial Day? 'They going to just to keep beating that shit into our heads about how they did us, huh? Hotwater
Time to get drunk. I have written some code that should do the trick ... if there's a bug you may not see me again but I've debugged it on several different machines. 50% of the machines ended up with fried firmware, but I think I've debugged it to perfection enough that the worst that can happen is a system reboot after being unresponsive for several hours
wouldn't playing roots during black history month just support the idea that blacks should only get one month that is separate from all other history?
Hey, you....I'm good.... Whatever that heavy cloud was that was hanging over me seems like it lifted today......so i feel debugged.....knock on wood.
No February would have been ideal, more specifically during ratings sweeps week. And as snoop suggested someone is trying to remind us of what they did to us, to keep us in check? Hotwater
“You are sad,” the Knight said in an anxious tone: “Let me sing you a song to comfort you.” “Is it very long?” Alice asked, for she had heard a good deal of poetry that day. “It's long,” said the Knight, “but it's very, very beautiful. Everybody that hears me sing it - either it brings the tears to their eyes, or else -” “Or else what?” said Alice, for the Knight had made a sudden pause. “Or else it doesn't, you know. The name of the song is called ‘Haddocks' Eyes.’” “Oh, that's the name of the song, is it?" Alice said, trying to feel interested. “No, you don't understand,” the Knight said, looking a little vexed. “That's what the name is called. The name really is ‘The Aged Aged Man.’” “Then I ought to have said ‘That's what the song is called’?” Alice corrected herself. “No, you oughtn't: that's quite another thing! The song is called ‘Ways And Means’: but that's only what it's called, you know!” “Well, what is the song, then?” said Alice, who was by this time completely bewildered. “I was coming to that,” the Knight said. “The song really is ‘A-sitting On A Gate’: and the tune's my own invention.” Lewis Carroll, Through The Looking Glass
I'm on Ramadan hours and it is glorious. Everyday work starts at 8:30 and ends at 1:30. It almost makes me sad to be leaving the Middle East.
I'm always exhausted after every time my parents come up to visit me. They came by and stayed 3 weekends in a row.
