Flipping through the news. 2 stories caught my eye. A parrot is being used as a witness in a murder case and a boy who identifies as female is a track star on the girls track team.

Just when you thought you saw it all they find some other way to make you shake your head.

they make a zzzquil ...same as nyquil but without the cold medicine just for sleeping aid...i use a knockoff brand called sleepeze....weird dreams for sure but actually getting some sleep is good and outweighs the panic i get from some of those dreams

How can a parrot be used as a witness. Lol.
I'd be furious if I got founded guilty by a bird. :D especially if it wasn't a crow.

The only witness to a rich man's murder is his parrot, who keeps repeating the suspect's name. But in court, everyone is surprised at what the bird says next.

The parrot sounds like Bugs Bunny.

I told Brad Keselowski on Facebook, which wouldn't be him really but someone paid to be him, I told him after reading an interview about his home track, that his comments were too bias and of course his home track means a lot to him. (Brad yesterday attacked my Jeff Gordon about bias comments). This what I said.

"Bit of a bias statement, Brad. of course your home town track would mean a lot to you. You've got to stop asking bias drivers about their favorite tracks. "

And he replies "I bet you're hilarious in your own mind" :D :D :D

Which I responded: Derh, of course. Funniest person I know. :d

I watched this video just now of a cow who started crying because she thought she was going to get slaughtered.

Now I've heard that a number at times, that cows know their fate but I'm not entirely sure I believe it. How could a cow, who's had no experience with a slaughter factory possibly imagine that that is where they're going to go and have it end?

That'd be like me making up some Fangdangle imaginary story, except I'm actually capable of doing that. I dunno what kind of imagination cows have, but I can't imagine they know of something they've never see nor understand our lingo to learn about it either.

I had to move my laptop to the sunroom so I can doob it up despite a kid being around....now I have a view of the coop and notice I am feeding quite a few bird families other than my own

Plants know when they are being eaten too. Vegetarians think it's some moral way to eat. No it's the same idea there is a food chain. It makes me sad to hear about the cow though.

i figure if people actually show an interest then maybe i can move up to hemp blends. i love the softness of hemp/ cotton blends. but cheaper is better for early on. we will see.

cig smoke from the new neighbors is driving me crazy. i need to get some fast growing shrubs and flowers or something for that whole side of the house. i dont have AC, or even a swamp cooler, just a house fan. if they are going to keep smoking outside, then i am going to have a rough summer. maybe i can hang damp towels in the window or something, filter it a bit on the way in, and cool it off.

i used to smoke djarum blacks. still crave them occasionally. but i moved away from open windows and other people. i know im more sensitive to the smell because i quit, and i dont like to bitch about it. everyone should be free to kill themselves in whichever way they see fit. but i was also raised around it, so i know the harm has been done even besides my short time smoking. i actually have to limit time spent with family and friends because i regret it so much the next day.
