Well, I think if Hillary wins everything will be great in America because Hillary is good and Donald Trump is bad. Donald Trump is an evil fascist and racist. Hillary, on the other hand, really cares about minorities and will take away the guns from all the evil bad people. I really want a government that will just wipe my ass really good. Government is love, and Hillary really seems like someone I want ruling over me. Please, we all need to pray that Hillary wins this election because she represents pure good whereas Donald Trump represents pure evil. The Democrat party is not corporate controlled like the Republicans are. They just want to help people and love them.

    Amen Brother!

    You said it all..................

From Whitewater to The Clinton Foundation to Benghazi, Hillary has been the innocent victim of unscrupulous criminals, a heavily biased Press Corps, and Partisan Politics [IMG]

BTW, something terrible just occurred to me. How will my post affect the election? You see, there is this thing called the Butterfly Effect. Somethings seem small, but they have a big effect, when one variable acts upon another. I mean, could I be responsible for Trump being elected? The replies have been ambiguous. That couldn't be good.

Oh, well. One thing I know, even if Trump becomes president, at least gays won't do too badly. (As I've said many times before, I am gay.)

As I said, though, one way or another, I just plan on sitting back and enjoying the ride[IMG] .

Sure I know we have a certain amount of gun control, and yet mass murders keep getting bigger and more frequent. When psychopaths are allowed to get their hands on automatic assault rifles then the gun control system needs revamping.

As for what you said about Trump, hell yeah!

I agree with you. Trump's ego won't let him lose. Even if he were to lose in a landslide, he will not concede. He will say the election was rigged. In regards to previous republican presidents, trump makes Nixon look good.

If you recall Reagan dismantled the mental health system starting in 1967 when he was Governor of California (he was known as Ray-Gun). By 1971 they were experiencing "a mass invasion of mental patients" In 1981 Reagan threw out Carter's Mental Health Systems Act and defunded Federal institutions.

So, yeah we need to review and reform all aspects of mental health care and increase the amount and accuracy of background checks for weapon purchases and ownership.

I don't know what you mean about what I said about Trump.

I'm sorry MeAgain---cost too much money to help those with mental issues. Let them wander the streets in confusion----we got wars to fight!! Don't be so---you know---empathetic----that's out of style now.

Mental patients were treated like prisoners and the living conditions of mental hospitals were a human rights violation throughout the mid 20th century. It wasn't until later that the system uprooted it's head from its rectum and started treating these patients like human beings.

No doubt they were bad, but you don't dismantle the system and throw them out into the streets to fend for themselves, you correct the situation.

Yeah but SpaceX pays it's employees dirt.

You can make more as a (good) plumber than as an engineer at SpaceX. Keep in mind that SpaceX only recruits the top graduates from the top tier U.S. engineering schools (MIT, Caltech, Stanford, etc).

So to work at SpaceX you need to get into a top tier school, graduate near the top of your class, gain top internships at reputable engineering firms, have a shit ton of personal projects. At the end of all that you get a measly 70k salary. No Thanks!

The response from the HR recruiter

If Trump only cared about Trump, he'd be at a golf course for the next 10 years enjoying his wealth and his retirement. Why would becoming president benefit Trump? Perhaps it's an ego thing to become president but there has to be more to it than that.

I disagree that he's mentally unstable or that he's incompetent. The thing is the supposed "competent" people with the right credentials who go into politics are usually the same kind of people who ran for school president. They're not the brightest or the most capable. They go into politics precisely because they know they don't have any particular talents.

Trump is a bit of a crook. He was in the casino business for many years. However, a casino man is a much more trustworthy individual than the vast majority of politicians.

I don't know what SpaceX pays, and I didn't look at the link. We were talking about equal pay for men and women, not how much they earn as long as it's equal.

70K to start!!!! I never earned 70k in my life and I have a B.S., and an M.Ed. and worked for over 34 years in the same field. I'll take it!

Teaching is much less lucrative than the engineering and technology sectors.

If we're talking about top engineers from MIT, yes they should and could be making far more than 70 k per year. Many if not most of these SpaceX employees have years of experience and advanced degrees but the salaries at spaceX still top out at very low 6 figures. I'm sure the school board administrators in your district make more than these people!

Elon Musk's words on fixing the supposed wage gap ring very hollow to me as he has a net worth of over 10 billion USD. A lot of people on here have pointed out that Trump is an out of touch billionaire but so is this guy.

He's basically milking these nerdy engineers.

Here's a reddit thread on it

    The exceptions prove the rule.

Eisenhower was a military officer. He was not a politician until much later in life. The route he took to getting into politics was very different from that of most modern day career politicians. Ted Cruz is a perfect example of the life trajectory of most politicians

This is his high school yearbook photo:

If you can't read the text in this image:

This little snot was planning on going into politics from the age of 14, possibly earlier.

    Compare this with Lincoln:

    Eisenhower:

It's no surprise that Eisenhower and Lincoln were much better presidents than most career politicians. These men did not have a single-minded goal of becoming president from an early age. They had other aspirations.

Not to belittle or antagonize, but why would they be fake and is there any evidence supporting it?
