Let me know how you like everything piaf! I am going to have to look into asian skincare, it looks interesting. Are the snail products really made with snail?? What are the differences in ingredients in these products and western products, do you know?
Also, i am loving my rose hip oil. I have been using it only a few days and can already see a difference. My face looks...rosy.
Nothing wrong with a little vanity Can someone recommend a good exfoliate? Preferably something not too expensive, if there is such a thing. I am really fed up with over priced skin care products.
You can make your own exfoliate in about 5 minutes using oil, sugar, and essential oil for scent. I made one once and it made my skin so soft.
There are a lot of options..jojoba, almond, avacado..i think I actually just used olive oil when I made mine.
Olive Oil, eh? I'll try that tonight...... I used to be a big fan of soaking my hair in olive oil overnight. I haven't done that in many years, though.
Do you use this on your face? I thought sugar scrubs were too harsh for the face. I use a sugar scrub on my feet and hands sometimes though.
Why take advice fro masian woman when they generally age better then anyone else? They also stay out of the sun a lot..
Nah i guess i should have asked if she was intending it for her face. I cant really exfoliate my face at all though except with a washcloth and water because it makes me break out..so i was kind of cluess about whether sugar scrubs can be used for the face
Why anything? Anyways, they have some amazing products - affordable prices, great ingredients that are HIGHLY concentrated in a product, ph friendly....(@meliai, I'll answer your post in a while, I need some time). And yes, they do tend to age better. I don't really get your question though. If we can learn something better from anyone, why not give it a try?
I'm saying they might use all those products but even if they dont they will still generally look the same. Most asian i know dont even use products on their faces. Come on plaf, your skin is nothing some internal ACV drinking, 2-3 liters of water a day, 10 minutes of sun a day and a not so processed diet cant fix And best of all is basically cost nothing
About scrubs.... My mom sent me this one with baking soda, and I was so sceptical because my face is super sensitive, but I did it once last week, and yesterday evening, and the effect is amazing. It sounds kind of harsh for your face, and I thought my face won't take it well...but it's so smooth and clean, love it. Will continue to do it every now and then. What you need: baking soda shaving foam/cream (I don't use it, so I borrowed my boyfriend's xD) a really soft toothbrush, or a face brush if you have one chamomile tea (dry chamomile flowers) I googled, and found it in English: http://www.healthtipsportal.com/baking-soda-for-face-care/ I thought my face was going to have some sort of reaction, to either brushing or shaving foam, but nope.
I like skincare products, and I will continue to do it my way, trying different products and all that ;-) But thanks for the advice. I never knew I had to stay out of sun, eat healthy and drink lots of water! xD
you obviously dont since youre still using lots of chemicals on yourself you'd probably take lifting advice from someone on steroids btw just downed a tablespoon of ACV with some water. clear skin, energy, no acid reflux. give it a go m8
I went on a spiritual journey to death valley if any of yall are thinknig of tryin ACV make sure you get the braggs brand with 'the mother' in it. It looks fucken disgusting but thats where all the good shit lies
the most important thing is to cleanse thoroughly I guess, especially for ladies who wear make-up everyday, my day-regime is skin toner (I use the la prairie marine biology one), rose water, eye cream, skin corrector, serum (restructuring), booster serum, day cream, sun screen (not a must if you are putting on foundation), and then I go on to make-up. I like to start by using colour corrector base and then skin tone primer just before applying foundation.
